Martin County Humane Society of MN We are the Martin County Humane Society - also known as The Carl Nettifee Memorial Animal Shelter. He has since passed on, but his legacy continues.

An animal control officer in Fairmont many years ago, Carl pioneered the ideals of which we operate.

Ryker (black and white) and Tasha (all black) came to the shelter when they were very young. They lived together in a foster home until they were able to come to the shelter and search for a new home. After a long wait, the pair has finally been adopted together. They will bring lots of joy and comfort with them to their new home. Thanks for giving the pair a chance.

**NO FEES** Shout out to this year’s Martin County West 4th grade class!!! They worked really hard selling lemonade and raised enough money to sponsor the adoption fees of 3 pets!!!
They thought it was only fitting since last year’s class sponsored Chico and Breezie, that they should sponsor their puppies Rain and Storm this year! Now the whole family has their fees covered and are waiting for adoption applications!
Plus there’s a bonus! They were also able to sponsor Bacco! He has been waiting for his forever home for over a year as well!

PLEASE SHARE AND GIVE THESE KIDS A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR ALL THE HARD WORK THEY DID TO HELP THESE ANIMALS!!! 👏👏👏👏👏

About a week ago, Lettie was adopted. We got a fb msg today from Lettie Lou via her mom. We thought you all might enjoy hearing from her.

"Lettie Lou here. I got to tell you guys, I really hit the jackpot with these ladies! I'm doing so good potty training, I go outside with my big sister all the time and rarely have accidents. I follow my new mom around just like her shadow (because she gives me all the good treats)! I'm such a good girl I sleep in bed with my mom right by her head. Mom slept with me on the floor with me for 2 days and then she said something about being old and her hips hurtin' and so I ended up in her bed! I got a bunch of toys that are just my size, I really like these pig ears they give me and I get Zoomies every time my furry sister comes into the room! Here's a few pics of me. Thanks for saving me and sending me to this great new place where I'm treated like the princess that I am!"
