🚨8 THINGS YOUR DOG GROOMER MIGHT NOTICE THAT YOU DON’T! 👀
One thing about grooming your pups is that we get pretty familiar with them, especially our regulars! 🖤 Since we get to put our hands on them from nose to tail, sometimes we notice little changes that are easy to miss at home.
Here are 8 things we keep an eye out for while grooming your babies! 🐾
1. Changes in their skin or coat: Dry skin, redness, unusual flaking, hair loss, or irritation.
2. New lumps or bumps: Something new we feel while bathing, brushing, or clipping.
3. Ear issues: Unusual smells, redness, discharge, or irritation.
4. Changes in weight or body condition: Noticeable changes from one visit to the next.
5. New sensitivities: Flinching, tenderness, or reacting to being touched somewhere that never bothered them before.
6. Changes in behavior or movement: Limping, stiffness, or acting differently during grooming.
7. Paw and nail problems: Cracked paw pads, broken nails, swelling, or irritation between the toes.
8. Changes around the eyes or mouth: Unusual discharge, redness, swelling, or anything that doesn’t look quite right.
We aren’t vets, and we can’t diagnose anything, but if we notice something that concerns us, we’ll always do our best to let you know so you can check with your veterinarian if needed. 🐶
We love making your babies look and smell good, but their health and comfort are just as important to us! We’re thankful y’all trust us with your pups, and we never take that for granted. 🐾🖤
