HEAT STROKE ALERT!
We are seeing a lot of pets coming in for regular appointments that are over heated from the trip to the vet!

1. Cool down your vehicle before placing your pet inside and make sure the sun is not shining on them or their carrier when in the car.

2. Do not cover the carrier with a blanket or towel.

3. If you do not have AC in your car - keep your pets at home!

4. Do not place fleece and blankets in carriers - this increases the temps in the carrier! Try to use newspaper or paper towels.

5. Bring your bunnies inside! They cannot tolerate temps over 80 degrees! If you do not have AC, get your pets to a friend or family member's house.

6. Even reptiles can overheat in this weather! If you take them outside, be sure they have shade, water to climb into and are in a well-ventilated enclosure - no plastic or glass enclosures!

If you have an appointment this Saturday, June 14, please be aware that there will be a No Kings protest at each intersection near SEAVS!
There may be more traffic than usual in the area, so leave yourself plenty of time to arrive!

You can cut through the neighborhood using Maple or Chestnut streets as an alternative to the main roads, if needed
