At Little River, caring for animals is more than a business. It’s a way of life for us. On-site radiograph, ultrasound and labs services are also available.

We have been serving the community since 1961 and our managing veterinarian, Dr. Judy Downs, has been in practice for more than 25 years. We offer appointments Monday through Saturday with alternating closures on Thursdays and Saturdays to better serve our clients. We offer a full line of flea ,tick and heartworm prevention along with prescription diets for your family pet. We provide emergency service, dental services, preventive medicine, surgery, and vaccinations.

After many wonderful years serving our community, Little River
Veterinary Clinic will be closing permanently at the end of day on Friday October 31. We are so grateful for the trust you’ve placed in us and for allowing us to care for your beloved pets.

Sadly, after 38 years in practice and 28 years at Little River Veterinary Clinic, I have made the difficult decision to retire.
