We just finished this beautiful Bobcat pedestal on a log. If you don’t have the room for a full body mount or a full body is out of budget, this is a great option. These can be a table mount like this one or finished to hang on a wall.

Late Season Update - We are still accepting Deer for mounts.😎

*HUNTERS* - We are buying good condition capes that hunters dont wish to have mounted. We will cape the head, just bring it as if you were getting it shoulder mounted. If completely caped already we will still buy it as long as its in good condition and was skinned properly. We like to have extras for later use and to help hunters that have harvested a deer they want mounted with a poor condition, unusable cape. 🦌 Give us a call and let your hunting buddies know! Good luck to all Missouri gun hunter’s this weekend be safe out there, wear your orange and we look forward to seeing you soon!! If you harvest a deer in a mandatory CWD check in county for the 15th & 16th PLEASE let them know if you were going to be getting your deer shoulder mounted. When testing for CWD they will cut into the throat to remove the lymph nodes for testing once this is done, the deer’s cape can no longer be used for taxidermy work.

With deer season off to the races here’s a diagram on how to cape your deer if you plan to do it yourself. Figure 2A make that cut in the middle of the body, extra cape never hurts! Figure 2B cut the leg low enough to have about 6 inches of the leg caped out, when you connect that cut to the one around the body follow the edge of the white hair on the back of the leg towards the belly but don’t cut the white hairs. Figure 3, cut 3 inches below the head and neck junction, we will take care of caping the head/face after you drop your deer off. The quicker you get it to us the better for the condition of your cape. If you can’t drop it off right away, get the cape/head in the freezer or refrigerator as soon as possible!
