DEER HUNTERS: The CWD Management Zone consists of all shaded counties. In counties shaded gray/brown with black dots, if you harvest a deer during Nov. 11-12, you must take it or the head on the day of harvest to a mandatory CWD sampling station. CWD sampling is not mandatory in counties shaded blue.

Deer hunters!!!

Although CWD testing is mandatory in our county and surrounding counties, if you let them know you are having it mounted they may make an exception and not cut the neck of the deer. If you are planning to mount it BE SURE to let the testers at the CWD station know. A cut neck is not repairable.
