Attention!
Dr. Watkins will be out of office tomorrow 11/7 but will be back on Monday! Although we are not able to take dr appointments we are still open our regular hours to schedule appointments, medication refills, technician appointments, and food pick up.

🐶 Keep candy (especially chocolate and sugar-free treats with xylitol) far out of reach.
🐱If you're expecting trick-or-treaters, secure pets in a quiet room so they don't slip out the door.

Schedule your new puppy or kitten wellness exam!

Meet sweet Kirby, Francis, Niko, and Birdie!

Puppies and kittens are just like babies and need early checkups to make sure they are strong and healthy.
During the first checkup Dr Watkins will:
✅Give a physical exam
✅Set up a vaccine schedule
✅Start on a deworming and parasite prevention
✅Discuss spay and neuter
✅Give any advice and tips needed

📅When?
First exam visits are around 6 to 8 weeks old.
Follow up visits are every 3 to 4 weeks until 16 weeks old.

Stretch is a sulcata tortoise that was found near Maple Woods Community College and brought to our clinic. Sulcatas are African tortoises and are not able to survive in cold weather. Stretch lives at our clinic during the winter months, and at Dr. Watkins’ house over the summer.
