During the last week of National Lost Pet Prevention Month, take a few minutes to make sure your pet's microchip is registered and that your contact information is up to date. It's a simple step that can make all the difference in helping a lost pet find their way home. 💙

We *donut* know what we did to deserve such thoughtful clients, but we're certainly grateful. We appreciate your kindness (and our very happy stomachs)!

With poor air quality from the wildfires, try to keep outdoor time short, avoid strenuous exercise, and watch for signs like coughing, difficulty breathing, or eye irritation. Stay safe and keep your furry family members indoors as much as possible. ❤️

With wildfire smoke creating poor air quality across parts of the Midwest, East Coast, and New England in recent days and expected in the days to come, the AVMA is reminding the public that wildfire smoke can pose serious health risks not only to people, but to pets and livestock as well.

Smoke from wildfires contains fine particles that can cause respiratory issues in animals, especially those with pre-existing heart or lung disease. While your pets might enjoy some water sports, we do advise some caution in regards to where they drink! From Lake Michigan to a sidewalk puddle, we recommend not letting your pet drink from any water source you cannot guarantee is clean. 💦
