Thank you to the ladies from the Apopka Woman's Club for inviting us to the 64th Annual Art and Foliage Festival this weekend, we had a great time.

All are invited to Clermont on Saturday, May 2, 2026, for the Clermont Garden Club's 8th annual Spring Garden Festival.

Stroll the grounds of our garden club, located at 849 West Ave, and along the shore of Center Lake Park and shop with plant vendors, nurseries, specialty vendors and purveyors of specialty food items. The kids are not forgotten! There will be free activities for the kiddos to enjoy! Food and Beverages will be available, too.

The hours of the event are 9am-2pm. Lots of unique raffles will be found in our clubhouse. Bring the family - and a wagon for all your new treasures!

Free parking on the streets and in public parking located at the corner of 8th Street and Desoto Avenue.

This is Vicks Plant, Plectranthus tomentosa. This aromatic herb smells of menthol, much like the v***r rub for which it is named.
I share this today as I was sticking cuttings of the Vicks and I had a fond memory of Kathy Hopper, longtime member of the Apopka Woman's Club, who passed away two years ago. Kathy loved Vicks Plant and asked each year if we would be bringing them to the Foliage Festival. She thought it was amazing that you could clip some stems and allow them to sit around for weeks before getting around to rooting them and they would still be alive and take root. These cuttings shown here did just that.
Yes, Miss Kathy, we'll be bringing Vicks Plant in your memory. We miss you.

We have a busy weekend ahead. Locals can check us out at Blue Moon Tropicals, where we will have a spot for their spring open house. It's Saturday, March 28th from 9 to 4.

We'll also be at the Deland Wildflower Festival in downown Deland on Saturday.

And, Logan and Kyle will be heading to the EPIC Flower and Garden Festival in St. Augustine for the weekend.

We hope to see you at one of these awesome events!

Our 29th Annual Plant Sale is finally here! Enjoy free admission to the Gardens all weekend, and purchase plants to spruce up your home for the springtime.
