Leighton has her heart surgery tomorrow ❤️‍🩹 My sister in law with J East Co. does amazing painted cow skulls and is offering raffle tickets for a chance to win one of her one of a kind skulls, the proceeds will help support Leighton's family during her recovery. Praying for you Leighton, you got this cowgirl! 💪💖

Sweet, little miss Leighton goes in for her heart surgery tomorrow! Leighton was born with a heart condition, Truncus Arteriosus, where her heart chambers did not split correctly during development. With the help of her amazing surgeons, she went through her first surgery at birth. As Leighton has grown, she is ready for her next surgery.
Her family has made many long trips to the hospital (about 2 hours away) and they will have to stay out of town. Expenses will help with travel, meals, and anything else not covered while her parents are helping her recover.
I am raffling tickets for a chance to win a custom cow skull. You can pick between the 3 designs listed in the picture. Message if you have any questions!

Hey there horse community.
I'm posting here to ask for some support to help out a little cowgirl who has been a tough little heart warrior since day one ❤️‍🩹
Miss Leighton was born with a heart defect that required open heart surgery at just a day old.
Leighton has not let that slow her down in the slightest! This little firecracker has thrived for 4 years with the most amazing parents, family and team of medical professionals by her side, but she is headed into her next surgical battle and could use some extra love from us fellow horse men and women.
If anyone could take just a moment to give:
#1 lots of prayers
#2 a couple of dollars if you can spare or
#3 spread the love with a quick share.
It would be so greatly appreciated!
You got this Leighton! Stay strong little cowgirl! 💖💪❤️‍🩹🙏🩷

Hi everyone! We've been super busy with welcoming several new horses into our facility. We are up to 8 client horses in the barn, and welcoming our 9th later this month!
I will try and catch you all up on some of our recent facility projects. (Check out our latest reel!) 😉 As our clients can attest, things are making tremendous progress despite some weather related setbacks we've had to contend with.
We still have stalls available for full care only so please shoot me a message if you have any questions or would like to set up a time to come tour our facility in person.

Hay testing is important for many reasons, especially when dealing with horses who have metabolic concerns.
Having a nutritional baseline for the forage you offer your horse can be a great tool to help you and your vet establish a game plan for managing metabolic issues.
Diet and exercise are the first line of defense and can greatly reduce the need for pharmaceutical or nutraceutical intervention.

We didn't get quite enough committed interest for a Holiday Haul-in.
Our "photobooth" will be closed for non-client use this year but we would love to make something official next year!
Hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

More pictures of our residents to come! 🎄🎅

Welcome Gabler family and Jupiter!
Jupe had a rocky transition period coming from Sothern California, but with his super loving, family's support and a tailored care plan, he has settled in remarkably!
He has some really silly quirks his family warned us about, and we are beginning to see.😅
Jupi has become great buddies with his new barn neighbors. ❤️ Welcome to Crow Hop!

Oregon's wet winters are tough for us equestrians to contend with.
It didn't take but the first few rains for us to realize we needed to address the outdoor arena and round corral.
Stay tuned as we fix this soggy mess and hopefully extend the seasonal use.

From left to right, Ellie, Lady and Luna!
These 3 lovely girls needed a temporary place to stay while their own farm got some renovations.
Alexis Shafer gives these girls the best care and we were happy to offer them a cozy spot to hang out so she could ensure they would be happy and safe when returning home. 😊
