Whew! 😅

I’ve never been so happy to be this tired.

This week has been full of vet trips, trapping cats, more vet trips, and 7 adoptions — yes, SEVEN! 🎉🐾

Somehow we’re still full, so there’s no rest for the wicked… I mean weary. 😂

We’ll be at Bingo tomorrow raising funds to help keep our staff paid and the lights on. While we’re there, an amazing team of volunteers will be working on the shelter yard and barn. 🙌 It truly takes a village, and we’re so grateful for every single person who helps make this mission possible.

Congratulations to all of our adopted babies and their new families! ❤️ If you’re thinking about adding a furry family member, we still have plenty of adorable dogs and cats looking for homes.

💜 Huge shoutout to EVERYONE in Fort Gaines who came together to keep this sweet girl safe and help get her to us! It truly takes a village, and because of your kindness, she's finally getting the care she deserves.
She saw our veterinarian yesterday and has already started medications. The road to recovery won't be short, but she's officially headed in the right direction. And let me tell you—she is the SWEETEST girl. I'm completely in love with her already!
Right now she's receiving Carnivore Care supplement to help provide the protein and calories her body desperately needs as she gains strength. If you'd like to help with the cost of her supplement, veterinary care, or upcoming heartworm treatment expenses, we would be incredibly grateful.

Not every update is the news we hope for, but we’re determined to make the best of it for Clyde.

Clyde tested heartworm positive last week. The good news? We’ve already started his treatment, and he’s on the road to recovery! ❤️

Heartworm disease is treatable, and with proper care and treatment, Clyde has every chance of living a long, happy life. Each day brings him one step closer to being heartworm-free and one step closer to finding the forever family he deserves.
