Fall Availability Update 🍂🐾

Fall is booking up quickly at The Dog Inn! We’re already seeing lots of reservations come in for the upcoming months, so if you have travel plans, we recommend getting your pups’ stays reserved soon.

📅 Currently FULL: September 2nd–14th

We still have some availability throughout the rest of the fall, but dates are filling quickly! Once we’re full, we will keep a cancellation list and reach out if anything opens up.

🐾 WE’RE HIRING! | KENNEL TECHNICIAN 🐾

The Dog Inn is looking for a reliable, motivated, and hardworking team member to join our small, hands-on dog daycare and boarding facility!

This is a part-time position caring for dogs in both daycare and overnight boarding while helping us maintain a clean, safe, structured, and low-stress environment.

🐶 Responsibilities

• Supervise and interact with dogs in small group play settings
• Feed, water, and provide daily care for boarding and daycare dogs
• Clean and maintain kennels, play areas, and facility spaces
• Monitor dog behavior and ensure safe interactions
• Assist with dog drop-offs and pick-ups
• Follow daily care routines and individual instructions for each dog
• Work independently and stay on task without direct supervision

🕐 Schedule

15–25 hours per week

Typical shifts include:
• 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Availability for one or both shift times is preferred.

✅ Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
• Previous animal care experience is required
• Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Comfortable working independently
• Able to stay active and on your feet for extended periods
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking
• Ability to follow instructions and established routines
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

💰 Compensation

$13/hour
1099 Independent Contractor position
Part-time | 15–25 hours/week

☀️ Summer Boarding & Daycare Update ☀️

We wanted to give everyone a quick update on our summer availability! 🐾

We are booking up very quickly and are currently fully booked through June 21st. We also have limited availability for the remainder of June, so if you’re planning any summer trips, now is the time to reserve your pup’s stay!

🇺🇸 Holiday Week Update: We are fully booked July 2nd–5th. We do have some openings available after those dates, but spots are filling fast.

Some pups simply require a lot more drying, brushing, and de-shedding time than others, so this helps us keep pricing fair for everyone while continuing to provide quality care and one-on-one attention. 💛

We’re hiring a Dog Kennel Technician to join our small, hands-on team! This is a great fit for someone who truly enjoys working with dogs and wants to be part of a fun, supportive environment.

• Small, low-stress facility (just 8 runs!)
• Flexible scheduling – anywhere from 10–20+ hours/week available
• Quarterly team outings (we like to have fun outside of work too!)
• Work closely with dogs in a more controlled, personalized setting
