Sharing an old post but a service that we find to be incredibly value to our clients and their pets.

End of life care for pets isn't easy and we are here to help ease the challenges it brings. We know that often times our pets are members of our family and need to be treated that way.

💛🐾 Saying goodbye to a beloved family member is one of the hardest moments any pet parent can face. At our clinic, we’re here to support you with compassion, understanding, and dignity every step of the way.

Our end-of-life care services are designed to provide comfort for your pet and clarity for you. We offer:

✨ Gentle, compassionate guidance as you navigate difficult decisions
✨ Quality-of-life consultations and open discussion to help determine what’s best for your pet
✨ Peaceful euthanasia services, focused on comfort and dignity
✨ Private or communal cremation options handled with the utmost respect
✨ Memorial keepsakes for families wishing to honor their pet’s memory

We understand how deeply pets touch our lives, and we are committed to ensuring their final moments are filled with love, comfort, and care. If you need support or have questions about our services, please reach out—our team is here for you.

💛 🐾 We’re here to help you and your pet with compassion and respect regardless of stage of life.

🐾🌍 World Veterinary Day 2026 🌍🐾
“Veterinarians: Guardians of Food and Health”
Today, we celebrate the vital role veterinarians play—not only in caring for animals, but in protecting the health and well-being of people everywhere.
From farm to fork, veterinary professionals are on the frontlines of ensuring that food is safe, nutritious, and responsibly produced. Their work supports food safety, strengthens food security, helps prevent the spread of zoonotic diseases, and contributes to healthier communities worldwide.
Veterinarians remain essential in building sustainable food systems and protecting public health.

We’re proud to be part of a profession that goes beyond animal care to support global health and sustainability. Thank you for trusting us to care for your animals and your community. 💙

As we say good bye to 2025, we want to take a moment to say thank you to our incredible community of clients and supporters 💙

To our longtime clients and those who trusted us for the first time this year—thank you for choosing us to care for your animals. To all the familiar faces and the new paws, whiskers, and wagging tails that walked through our doors—thank you for being part of our clinic family.

We are truly grateful for the support of our community and for allowing us to do what we love every day: caring for the pets and livestock that mean so much to you.

Here’s to a happy, healthy, and tail-wagging 2026—we can’t wait to share another wonderful year with you and your four legged friends! 🐾✨

As you get ready to hit the road and enjoy the holiday season, don’t forget one of the most important safety steps for your pets—make sure they’re microchipped!
Traveling, new environments, and busy gatherings can make it easier for pets to slip away or become disoriented. A microchip is a simple, permanent way to help ensure your furry family members can be identified and reunited with you quickly if they ever get lost.
🐾 Why microchip before the holidays?
• Holiday travel increases the chances of pets wandering or getting spooked
• Collars and tags can fall off—microchips don’t
• It takes just a few minutes and provides a lifetime of protection
If your pet is already microchipped, this is also a great time to double-check that your contact information is up to date in the registry.
Give us a call at Estherville Vet Clinic or reach out to the Emmet County Animal Shelter and we’ll make sure your pet is protected before your holiday adventures begin.
Safe travels and happy holidays from our team to yours! ❤️🐶🐱
