Did you know delivers within a 50 mile radius? Luckily, Out to Pasture falls within that radius. Thank you, Adam and companion Radar, for the delivery of tasty vegan food yesterday.

Food Fight Grocery has always been the hub of the vegan community in Portland and has always supported local farm animal sanctuaries.

Over twenty years ago, the original owner, Chad, tried to explain Facebook to me (saying Out to Pasture needed an online presence). I left with no idea what he was talking about.

Did you know goats have no upper front teeth? Instead, they have hard dental pads to rip grass and move food back in their mouth for their molar teeth to grind and chew.

Sugar and the other goats and pigs are enjoying the donated pumpkins. Thanks to everyone who has dropped off at the sanctuaary gate or at 2907 NE Weidler St in Portland.

Lazarus was rescued from being thrown in the trash as a chick last August. Almost dead, a kind couple took the chick home, warmed him, and saved his life. When Lazarus turned out to be a rooster, they realized they needed to find a new home. Roosters are not allowed in the Sandy city limits (town outside of Portland).

His family is willing to drive to a new home in Oregon or SW Washington.

Ruffio is on a farm outside Estacada and needs a new home asap. He is a friendly dog and good with cats and people. He's not good with poultry, according to his caretaker.

He is a two year old 3/4 Anatolian Shepherd and 1/4 Merino.

Oreo is an eight year old female Nigerian Dwarf goat, and sadly, the last of her herd. She has outlived the older goats and now needs a new home. Her caretaker is unable to keep her.

Oreo is a sweet, friendly goat. She's good with kids, cats, dogs, pigs, and sheep. Located in the Estacada area.
