After a super official and totally-not-boring voting process, we're stoked to announce a brand new bus route on Tuesdays that'll hit up both Fairview AND Millcreek! Now, we need your genius suggestions for drop-off and pick-up spots - just remember, they have to be public spaces that get plowed regularly in the winter ❄️.

Attention:
Kennel cough is a common and highly contagious respiratory condition in dogs, similar to a cold in humans. While usually mild, it can spread quickly in environments where dogs are in close contact.

We’ve had a few reports from clients noticing symptoms of kennel cough at home. As a precaution, here’s what to watch for..

Common symptoms:
Coughing that sounds like hacking, or wheezing.
Runny nose
Goopy eyes
Loss of appetite
Lethargy
Vomiting noises with no vomit
Diarrhea
Sneezing or reverse sneezing

If your pup has 2+ symptoms, please keep them home until they’re feeling better ❤️
We’ve also stepped up our cleaning protocols to keep everyone safe.

If a handler suspects your dog may have contracted kennel cough we will call you to pick up your pup and place them on a TWO week suspension to return.

Meet Buddy, our handsome Dog of the Month for August🐾🐾
Buddy has been a part of the Lucky Dog family for quite some time now. He comes for half-day play sessions and trust us- he manages to burn off all that energy in just five hours🐕
Every once in a while, Buddy boards with us and of course he brings along his favorite duck stuffy. 🐾
We absolutely adore Buddy and are so grateful we get to spend so much time with this sweet and playful boy!

We will be closed for daycare on Saturday September 20th for our Doggie Carnival. Everyone is welcome to bring your pup to the Carnival and check it out! It will be held here at Lucky Dog and starts at noon! There will be games, vendors, food trucks and lots of fun!

Happy Acres is our non-profit organization that is committed to dog rescue and rehabilitation. We are ready to introduce this great organization to the public and have some fun beginning our fundraising efforts to build a structure designated to housing rescue dogs needing a safe place while waiting for their forever homes. Say hello to Little Fern, our special pup of the month for July! 💚 Fern is an absolute joy to have at daycare. She’s the sweetest girl around and gets along with everyone- from our tiny pups to our bigger ones. You’ll often find Fern participating in all of our camp festivities throughout the year as well as her birthday parties! She’s always ready for some fun! And if there’s a treat nearby? She’s all in- this girl will do anything for a snack! We also want to give a special shoutout to Ferns mom, who frequently surprises staff with chocolate covered strawberries- a treat we definitely appreciate!

We hope to spend many more fun filled days with our Fern girl!
