Small Fry wasn't eating and hiding in his hideaway house. It was a tough few days but he got medicine from the vet and started to gulp down appetite restore last night. Today he is eating, running around and acting like himself again. I swear the appetite restore is like magic!
We needed this win before the weekend!! 🥳🤍

As if everything trying to eat you wasn't enough, you then had RHDV2 to worry about. Now, life is throwing another virus at you, and although we've seen some cases of this over the years, it appears that Colorado is experiencing a pretty nasty outbreak. It's always best to err on the side of caution and be aware of it. Stay safe out there everybun.

Thank you, rescue heroes. We know you are out there, and we are so grateful you are!

Our volunteer rescue team are the kind of heroes you don’t see in movies, but you should.

They’re the ones who will drop everything at a moment’s notice, grab a net and a flashlight, then head straight into places most people wouldn’t even look twice at.

They’ve crawled under trailers where it’s pitch black and the air is thick, wandered deep into the woods with only the sound of their own footsteps and a scared bunny somewhere ahead, and navigated overgrown yards where the grass is taller than they are.

They’ve done it in the heat, in the snow, in the middle of the night, all because somewhere out there is a rabbit who doesn’t know that help is coming, but desperately needs it.

They don’t ask for thanks, and they don’t think twice about the dirt, the scratches, or the hours it takes to finally scoop a terrified rabbit into safety.

Every single one of them has stories of the moment they finally caught sight of a little pair of ears in the dark, and the relief of knowing that bunny would never have to spend another night alone.

That’s what makes them heroes in the truest sense - not the glory, but the grit, the compassion, and the refusal to ever give up.

7 years ago, my little boy Fisher was featured on Sherwoods Instagram. I was SO EXCITED to see him on there. Who knew, 7 years later, I would be working for them!! 🥹🥰🐇
