Our Team’s Story
A few years ago, Dr. Mahmood (practice owner) said to Shelly (manager), “I have this crazy dream, are you in?” to which the answer was” Absolutely I am”.
Now, 1 year into our practice being open we know exactly who we are!
We are a small, privately owned, family-run practice that genuinely cares about the relationships we build with our clients and their pets. To us, veterinary medicine is about much more than treating an illness or performing a procedure. It’s about getting to know each pet as an individual, earning the trust of their families, and being there for them through every stage of their lives.
Our team is made up of three dedicated veterinarians and twelve caring and knowledgeable staff members. Together, we have created a close-knit environment where compassion, communication, and personalized attention are at the center of everything we do. Because we are a smaller practice, we can provide care with a personal touch. We take the time to listen to our clients, understand their concerns, and work together to develop the best plan for each individual pet.
We proudly care for a variety of small animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and Guinea Pigs. We understand that every pet has unique needs. Our goal is to make every visit as comfortable and positive as possible for both pets and their people.
A major part of our philosophy is our commitment to low-stress handling. We believe veterinary visits do not have to be frightening experiences. Our team uses gentle, patient techniques designed to reduce fear and anxiety and help pets feel safe and comfortable. By creating a calmer environment, we build trust with our patients while making veterinary care a more positive experience for everyone involved.
We offer the convenience of both a traditional brick-and-mortar veterinary clinic and two mobile veterinary units. Our mobile service allows us to bring veterinary care and end of life services directly into a pet’s home, providing an alternative that can be especially helpful for pets who become anxious when traveling or visiting a clinic. Being able to meet our clients where they are allows us to provide an even more personalized approach to veterinary care.
Although we are a small practice, we believe in combining personal service with modern medicine. Our clinic offers a range of diagnostic capabilities, including blood testing, cytology, radiology, and ultrasound. These tools allow our doctors to gather important information, make informed diagnoses, and develop appropriate treatment plans for our patients.
We also provide a variety of surgical and dental services, including dentistry, spay and neuter procedures, and mass removals. Whether a pet needs routine preventive care, diagnostic testing, medical treatment, or surgery, our team strives to provide thoughtful, comprehensive care from beginning to end.
What truly makes our practice special, however, is our people. We are a team that cares deeply about animals and understands the special place they hold in our clients’ families. We celebrate the happy moments, support our clients through difficult decisions, and remain committed to providing compassionate care throughout each pet’s journey.
