Looking for work this fall? Wishing Star Farm is hiring! We have lots of field trips, farm parties, Fall Fest, travel parties, and more coming up this Fall! We are looking for people over the age of 16 to help with all events and farm work. You must be able to lift feed bags, muck pens, help feed and water all animals, experience handling all animals is preferred but also willing to train, drivers license is preferred for travel events (we provide everything else), good customer service skills, willingness and initiative to work, work concession stand, and numerous other responsibilities and tasks. Spotlighting a few of our four legged friends on the farm. Today’s animals are our four camelids. What is a camelid? A camelid is a mammal including camels, llamas, alpacas, guanacos, and vicuñas. WSF has two llamas and two alpacas. Meet Victor and Lorenzo, our alpacas. Meet Pipen and Peakaboo, our llamas. Some fun facts about them… Peakaboo loves to travel everywhere with us while Pipen would rather stay home and eat hay all day. Victor and Lorenzo live with a few of our sheep and love showers from Ms. Christie during Animal Encounters!
