After The Races After the Races' mission is to rehabilitate and rehome retiring Thoroughbred racehorses into suitable, long-term homes while promoting the versatility and usefulness of the breed beyond racing. After the Races has rehomed more than 970 horses to date and all due to the support of our community as well as fellow horse enthusiasts and professionals. After the Races is a 501c3 and all donations are tax deductible. After the Races is equipped to handle donations of all kinds, whether donations are made directly or through donor advised funds. We are also able to accept donations of appreciated securities and stocks, and in-kind donations.
