So happy to announce little Pass the Judge was adopted by repeat adopter Emily in Pennsylvania! She's excited to bring him along and watch him grow up and hopefully into her next all around riding partner. He's a great baby and we are pretty confident will be so much fun to bring along. đź’ś

Check out Mummalicious! She had her first ride the other day in the snow and was perfect. The footing didn't allow for much more than walking but she handled it like we do it every day! Mumu is a barn favorite and the sweetest horse ❤️

Available in Fair Hill, MD: 5 yr old, 16 hand gelding ready for a new career!
(Videos linked below)

Mo Rum is an adorable, 5 year old, 16 hand gelding that came to us directly from his racing connections. This guy is by Uncle Mo and out of a Smoke Glacken mare which means he has some nice breeding. Nice enough he sold for $160,000 as a yearling! After running 18 times, his connections could tell he was ready for a career change and retired him sound and uncomplicated.

Mo Rum got a great intake evaluation, with our vet finding him clean and sound with a great future ahead! Mo got some quality down time with us and has enjoyed being turned out with geldings and mares. We were able to get a few rides in on him before the weather went crazy, and he showed us that he is a horse that tries hard and is very eager to please.

Mo is an athletic horse with energy to spare on these extra chilly days, and requires a confident handler. But he's also a sweet horse who showed us enough of who he is that we know he'll do well in an experienced home that can provide him with more consistent work while building him up for his next career in any discipline.

There are videos on the website for this one, and his photos don't do him justice!

Available in Fair Hill, MD, and ready to rock and roll!

Mummalicious ("Mumu") is a 4 year old, solidly-built, 16 hand, bay mare that came to us in partnership with New Start out of Penn National. This pretty girl raced 15 times and retired after showing "little talent or interest in racing!" Mumu is by Hoppertunity and out of a Congrats mare. Her pedigree contains a lot of greats such as Distorted Humor, AP Indy, Giant's Causeway, and more!

Mumu arrived barefoot and retired very sound. Our vet said she has an excellent future ahead with no known limitations! Mumu has been incredibly well behaved and has a wonderful temperament that really makes her stand out in a crowd. She has no vices and has been turned out with other mares without issue.

We recently had our first ride on Mumu and she was fantastic as we expected. Her first ride was in the snow, in the arena and she stood perfect for mounting and happily went around walk/trot even as snow built up under her hooves. While we can't keep horses in consistent work this time of year, she did great. We're pretty confident she'll be amateur friendly while also having a lot to offer professionals as well.

Definitely one worth taking a chance on!

Are you an approved adopter that's been waiting for your right horse to come along? Are you a long-distance adopter willing to take a chance on a horse without visiting in person? This deal is for you!

With two weeks left in the year, we'd love to see horses adopted and headed home this holiday season. Adoptions *completed* by end of day on Dec 31st will see generously discounted adoption fees. To take advantage of this special you MUST be approved and ATR must agree it's a good match for the horse (their welfare is always the priority!). Adoption fees must be paid in full and adoption paperwork completed before end of day Dec 31, 2025 (though horses could be picked up after). While PPEs are always welcome, we're not taking deposits or holding horses during this time as holidays make scheduling tricky.

While roughly 50% of our adoptions happen with adopters who adopt sight-unseen from a distance, ATR knows not all adopters have the same comfort zone. If you need to see a horse in person before adopting, we are not here to pressure you to do otherwise. This special has a short window and will mostly appeal to professionals and those with a lot of experience who trust in ATR's assessments, transparency, and matchmaking process.

Pass the Judge is a sweet, 15.2 hand, 2 year old gelding that came to us in partnership with Beyond the Wire in Maryland. He raced just two times and tried his heart out but just couldn't keep up with the big guys and his connections graciously allowed him to retire early. Judge is by Basin and out of a Suave mare which means there's some Johannesburg, AP Indy, Colonial Affair and Unbridled's Song a few generations back in his pedigree.

Judge had a great intake evaluation with our vet who thought he was absolutely adorable as well as sound. She said he could go in any direction without any known limitations. He has no vices and has been doing very well turned out with a TB filly and a miniature horse.

Since he just raced at the end of November, Judge will be getting some well deserved down time to be a horse and maybe even grow up a little. He's one we likely won't sit on before he's adopted but has the temperament to be really fun to bring along for the right person who loves bringing along baby horses.

Stay tuned for more photos and information as we get to know him!

Some views from around the farm this weekend. We hope you're staying dry and warm wherever you are. Even insulated and with heat tape, all the pumps in the barn froze again. If you haven't already checked out our fundraiser for a permanent fix, please do!
