🐾 I was definitely nervous walking into the dog show today, but I am SO glad I came!

Everyone I met was incredibly welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. I had the opportunity to watch, ask questions, learn, and make some wonderful new connections. ❤️

Coming today was another step toward what I want for PNP Dachshunds—continuing to learn, adding the right show prospect to our program, and competing in conformation and performance events down the line.

I’m feeling really good about where we’re headed! 🐾❤️

🐾 Went over and visited with Nancy and her littles today, and just look at Mr. Dom looking awwwfully handsome!! 🖤😍

He is a long-haired, completely black dachshund, besides just a few tiny hairs on his chest.

His brother Bryan is colored the same way, but he’s a smooth coat! 🖤🐾

These two boys are something special. ❤️

I’m pretty sure these stubborn turds are testing me to see if I’ll cave. Nobody is cleaning their bowl yet. We’re still snacking, picking and apparently negotiating the new meal plan. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Honey has even started flipping her bowl over. I swear she’s trying to hide some for later. 😂 Nice try, ma’am.

We’re sticking with it though! If you’ve made the switch from free feeding to scheduled meals with a stubborn crew, send me your tips! 🐾❤️

He’s taken his role as Head of Outdoor Operations very seriously. Current status: He enjoys being outside, collecting every stick he can find, and making sure the yard is totally secure. 😂🦴

There is nothing better than seeing our PNP babies living their best lives in their forever homes! ❤️🐾

Both boys ate ALL their food!! 🙌
Onyx did some snacking.
Honey & Harley and LaUna said, “No thank you.” 😑😂
And Bee 🐝 ate most of hers!

Everyone will get another chance to eat this afternoon.

We’re learning… some of us are just learning a little more stubbornly than others. 🤣❤️🐾
