*Note* Policies are subject to change, it is up to the pet owner to request a welcome agreement to stay up-to-date. We live on site & can provide around the clock care. Our current facilities are both climate controlled and completely indoors. We provide soothing background
music at all times and we have nightlights for the overnight hours. We also have a large fenced in yard where we do monitored playtime. Personalities can clash and lead to an unwanted trip to the vet. SAFETY MEASURES...
All pets must be leashed or crated at the time of pick up and drop off. We are near the road and we are in a very rural area with cows & wildlife. We do not want anyone running free. We have smoke alarms in the facility. Please note that we do check on pets around the clock, but we do not have staff monitoring from 11pm-6am. The facility is kept locked. Everything is by appointment only. Tours are available and set during days when we are not busy. The safety and stress levels of our pets are our first priority. Children are not allowed on walk through tours. HOURS OF OPERATION...
All drop off & pick ups are done by appointment only. I offer plenty of times for you to choose from Monday-Friday. I also do pick up and drop offs over the weekend. Saturday is at 10 am and Sunday is at 5 pm.
*Please keep your appointment time. I try to keep everyone scheduled so everyone does not show up all at once. Picking up/dropping off outside of your designated time slot will result in a $50 fee. We ask that you do not show up early or late. We work seven days a week and we also love to have time with our family. WE LIVE ON SITE, BUT DO NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT! If you cancel within 24 hours of drop off, there will be a $35 cancellation fee for holding your spot. If it happens to be a holiday reservation and you cancel, it is a $50 fee. If you are a no-show, you will owe the full amount and cannot re-book until the balance is cleared. PRICES/PAYMENT...
All pets are $25 per night. Cash or check is accepted. The total amount is due at the time of pick up. There are no exceptions. I charge per night and on the day of pick up...if the pet is picked up at 10 am or later, there is a $10 day board fee that is added. BASIC MANNERS/TRAINING...
Pets must be potty trained! We give multiple breaks throughout the day, so accidents should not be a concern. If your pet requires an extra cleaning, it is $10 per cleaning. This covers my time, my cleaning products and my paper products to freshen up their space. Puppy pads are ok if your pet knows how to use them. If your pet is not potty trained and these issues arise during boarding, he/she will be crated to protect the facility and extra care fees will ensue. I do not board pets with marking behaviors. I try to maintain a stress free environment for everyone in our care. We do not board aggressive pets due to safety concerns. Pets that are destructive are also not allowed due to the cost of constantly replacing materials. VACCINATIONS/HYGIENE...
Veterinary records are required showing that the pet is up to date on Rabies, Distemper & Bordetella 7 days prior to drop off. This allows the vaccine to provide maximum protection. Puppies must have all vaccinations. Cats must be up to date on Rabies, FVRCP and leukemia. Please make sure that your pet is free of fleas, parasites and odors at the time of drop off. If the pet shows signs of illness, such as sneezing, coughing, nasal discharge or rash...they will not be permitted to board. If there are any concerns, they will be treated by a vet of my choice. If this is necessary, it will be at the owners expense. PACK A DOGGY BAG...
All you need to bring is your pet and the food they are used to. A change in diet can lead to an upset tummy. Your are more that welcome to bring toys, bedding and treats. No glass bowls please! Have your items in a bag/container that is labeled.
**We are not responsible for lost or damaged items that have been left with the pet. If your pet has refrigerated food, no problem! We can accommodate. If meds need to be given, there is no extra charge.
