Dracul is a 7-8 year old neutered male Mastiff in Kansas City who is needing a new home. His owner could no longer keep him and he's temporarily living with a family member while they try to find him a permanent home. He is reported to be good with other dogs and cats. He prefers to live with women and does show fearful behavior around men. He loves to play with tennis balls and loves his doggie vanilla ice cream. He does have an issue with one of his paws that needs to be addressed at the vet but is otherwise healthy.

Thanks to everyone who shared our posts needing fosters, we're happy to report we have a foster commitment for Kash! We also had 2 current volunteers offer to foster some of the other dogs in need. Currently we have a brindle girl named Nikki in San Antonio TX who needs a foster so we can bring her in and possibly a fawn male out of Arkansas - waiting for more details on the male. Nikki is still with her owner but they are traveling for work and she'll need to go live in an outside kennel at a relative's house. It's not ideal for a Mastiff to be outside all day in TX during the summer. She is a nice girl, doesn't live with other dogs currently but is reported to be dog friendly for medium to large dogs. No small dogs or cats and she doesn't have any experience with small kids so older kids or an adult only foster would be best. We're looking for a foster for Nikki who can commit to at least 3 months as there's a high chance she'll be heartworm positive. Please message us or email [email protected] if you can foster Nikki!
