Edmond Animal Services, Government Edmond Animal Services is a unit of the Edmond Police Department. We provide animal control and animal sheltering services for the City of Edmond.

The Edmond Animal Shelter considers itself a low-kill facility. As a municipal shelter, we do not have the luxury of choosing what animals to take in, therefore the euthanasia of unadoptable animals is possible. Animals that are determined to be "adoptable" are held indefinitely until they find a forever home.

Qualifications include:
✔️ Excellent sitting skills
✔️ Professional-level head tilts
✔️ Expert in making eye contact that says, “you gonna take me home or what?”
✔️ Certified sweetheart

While our doors may be closed, Longfellow is patiently waiting for his future family to find him. If you’ve been thinking about adding a loyal companion to your crew, consider this your sign. ❤️

Meet Hemsworth & Pine 💙💙

These bonded boys are looking for a laid-back home where they can stay together. They’re a little shy and still figuring out the world, but they’re attached at the hip, and we just don’t have it in us to separate them.

While they may not be the life of the party (yet), we think that with patience, love, and a nurturing environment, these sweet guys will blossom into the wonderful companions they’re meant to be.
