Brrrr! Heated buckets, heated troughs, round bale feeders and blanketing included are just a few things that Fiddlers Folly does in the winter. We are interviewing for a few openings to join the barn.

Some other details:
-Two herds (mares/geldings)
- Rotational Grazing, they had green (dormant) grass through December
-1 roundbale for every 3 horses
-Grain fed by weight
-Horses weighed monthly
-Electronic invoice
-Smartpak Barn Buddies
-Cribbers need not apply
-Board is $825/month (+deposit)

Rotational Grazing for the win. I moved them two days ago before the storm. They know that there is grass under the snow. So one is eating from tossed hay, the others are eating grass. One left bright green poops last night, so totally not worried. (There is 7 piles along the fence also being ignored, video in comments)

There is something magical about the crisp mornings where Winter overtakes Fall’s last attempt of warmth from the day prior. The best time to take this wonder in is 30 minutes before sunrise, about an hour from now at 6:45, when everything is shimmering all at once. It doesn’t come across quite as well on video but this morning I got to enjoy nature‘s glitter and wanted to share it.

Due to rotational grazing and three less horses this year I bought 15 LESS rounds. My hay guy is asking me to let all my friends know that he has rounds left. Grown and stored in Anne Arundel County first and second cutting. Text Billy: (443) 871-1193.

I have the BEST hay guy! Early Christmas came to Fiddlers, there is even a bow on it. Now I can take out two rounds at a time. IYKYK!
