Julie Cardoza, owner of Wagging Tail Dog Services is a 2013 graduate of Bridgewater State University. Julie’s passion has always been caring for dogs. As a 12 year old she began walking and caring for dogs while their masters where at work or on vacation. During high school Julie worked at a doggie daycare facility. During college she adapted her college objectives to include dog training, especia

lly puppies. Now a college graduate, Julie is pursing a career caring for dogs offering her clients and their masters an all-inclusive dog caring service. From walking to in home boarding she offers one on one training and special attention for your furry friends. We are a proud member of Pet Sitters International and fully insured and bonded!

After seeing incredible success with our Sit Stay & Play program, we’re excited to introduce our newest service: Enrichment & Play!
Just like physical exercise, dogs need mental exercise too. Enrichment activities help build confidence, reduce boredom, encourage problem-solving skills, and provide a well-balanced day of mental and physical stimulation.
Each one-on-one session may include:

🐾 Scent work & “Find It” games
🐾 Snuffle mats & enrichment activities
🐾 Confidence-building exercises

🎓🐾 Training Tip Tuesday 🐾🎓

One of the biggest myths in dog training is that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.

This is my dog Franklin! 💛🐶

At 13 years old, Franklin is still practicing his recall and having fun learning! While training often focuses on puppies and young dogs, the truth is that dogs of all ages benefit from training and mental enrichment.

Training isn’t just about teaching commands it’s about:
✔ Keeping your dog’s mind active
✔ Building confidence
✔ Strengthening your bond
✔ Providing mental stimulation

Franklin may be a senior, but he still gets excited to work, earn rewards, and spend quality time training.

💡 Training Tip: Recall isn’t something you teach once and forget. The best recall comes from practicing throughout your dog’s life and making coming back to you fun and rewarding!

It’s never too late to start training, and it’s never too late to keep learning. 🐾

This week’s Magnifying Monday goes to Russ! He is a reserved pup at times, but when he’s feeling energetic, he comes out to play by throwing karate chops in the air. He even tries to play tag with the daycare attendants. Russ always has a smile across his face, and it’s contagious!

🐶 His besties are Gracie S, Ollie, and Phineas!
🎾 His favorite activity is melting onto his back and requesting belly rubs when it’s time to go home!
