Yesterday the wagging tail staff gathered with heavy hearts but full spirits to celebrate the life of our close friend and manager, River. It was a day filled with laughter, stories, dogs, and love, everything River would have wanted. His presence was felt in every hug, every shared memory, and every wagging tail. Rivers 3 dogs Willow, Ravioli and Phoebe are all doing good and it was so nice to see them.

We are planning a special memorial walk in River’s honor this August at Borderland State Park for the whole Wagging Tail community. Details will be shared soon, stay tuned. Let’s keep his light shining and his legacy wagging on.

Dear Wagging Tails Family,

It is with the heaviest heart that I share the devastating news that River, our beloved manager and dear friend, passed away on Monday.

River wasn’t just a manager, he was family to all of us. Over the past 7 years, River poured his heart into caring for your dogs and building relationships with so many of you. His kindness, compassion, and dedication touched countless lives, both human and canine.

As River was going through this difficult journey, we would send him photos of all the pups, and I want you to know how much that meant to him. Seeing all of your dogs who he truly loved like his own. It would brighten his day and give him strength. His love for each and every one of your pets is what helped him push through the chemo and all of the hard days.

When I spoke to River about the GoFundMe and shared how much we had all raised to support him, he cried happy tears. He felt so much love from this community, and I want to send my deepest thank you to everyone who helped him feel that love during such a difficult time. Your kindness brought him comfort, and for that, I am forever grateful.

I also want to say that I am so sorry if this is the first time you are hearing about River’s passing. I know how close many of you were to him, and I wish I could have reached out to each of you personally. This has been overwhelming for all of us as we try to process such a tremendous loss.

At this time, River’s funeral services will be private for his family. However, we will keep everyone updated with details about a memorial or celebration of life that will be open to all who loved him, we know many of you will want to come together to honor his memory.

Thank you for keeping River, his family, and our Wagging Tail team in your thoughts. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you want to share memories or if you just need someone to talk to, we are all grieving together.

All services Closure Tomorrow Due to Snowstorm

Woof woof, friends!

Can you believe it? We’ve been wagging tails, playing fetch, and giving belly rubs for 11 whole years! It’s been an incredible journey, and we couldn’t have done it without the best pack ever—you and your pawsome pups!

Every day feels like a treat (the peanut butter kind!) because we get to spend it with your fur babies. From the zoomies to the snuggles, your pups bring so much joy and laughter to our lives. We’re so grateful for your trust, support, and for letting us be a part of your family.

Here’s to many more years of wagging tails, slobbery kisses, and happy paws! Thank you for making these 11 years so special. We’re thrilled to keep fetching more memories with all of you!

The competition this year is SPOOKTACULAR with all these amazing pups costumes! Please vote for your favorite costumes! Remember that only likes on this Original Post count to the final tally. Voting will last from Today to 4pm on Halloween day! The winner will be announced at the end of the day on Thursday, October 31 st.

Halloween Costume Contest:
This year we will be having a virtual Halloween costume contest. If you would like to participate please send a picture of your pup through the time to pet app dressed up in their costume by Friday Oct 25th. We will post all the pictures on Facebook on Monday October 28th. The winner will be announced on Friday Nov 1st.
PRIZES:
1st place: $100 Credit to any service
2nd place: $75 Credit to any service
3rd place: $50 Credit to any service

Pupsgiving
Every year we have an event called Pupsgiving. It is when we give thanks to all of our clients and pups and hold a fun filled week of events for them including paw painting & a photo booth. This year since baby boy will be entering into the world around this time we are going to have a spooktacular pupsgiving event October 28th- Nov 1st. As long as your dog is scheduled for a daycare day during that week then they will be signed up for the spooktacular pupsgiving event. To reserve your spot you can message us through the time to pet app or put in a request, if your dog is already signed up for daycare they are included in spooktacular pupsgiving!

Days we will be fully closed due to holidays:
Thursday Nov 28- Thanksgiving Day
Friday Nov 29- day after Thanksgiving
Closed for a full week Dec 24th-Jan 1st
We will send out reminders as all of the events get closer.
