Orrick Acres started as a small hobby farm in 2013. In the Spring of 2017 we decided to share our passion and knowledge of horse-back riding with our surrounding area. There was such a huge demand and interest in what we had to offer we are now in the process of adding on to our outdoor riding area, providing more "lesson horses" and expanding to offer a Mobile Petting Zoo as well.

Once a year, our family steps away from the farm for a few days—and by “a few,” I mean literally THREE days. 😂 I’ve gotten better thanks to some wonderful farm sitters… sometimes you just have to rip the Band-Aid off and GO!

It’s become a little tradition we look forward to all year. ❤️

Most days, I’m outside 90% of the time and covered in some kind of dirt, hay, animal hair… or some other questionable farm “something.” 😂 I gave up having pretty nails a loooooong time ago.

But part of our yearly “step back” is treating my girls—and myself—to a mani/pedi. 💅❤️

Feeling extremely blessed, a little overwhelmed—but not tired…yet! 😂❤️

If you reach out between Sunday, August 30, and September 2, I may not respond as quickly as usual. I’ll be spending some much-needed, uninterrupted time with my family. After that, I’ll be homeschooling three of my kiddos while tackling this AMAZING September schedule! 🙌🫶

Worked all day got the front insulation installed, the three windows installed, and one piece of metal 😂❤️❤️
