Joanne's Ark Rescue We are a 501(c)3 non-profit dog rescue located in East Leroy, Michigan serving Calhoun County My goal is to change this. They did not ask to be born.

Mission Statement: To save, nurture, love and place in nothing less than the perfect home. So many dogs are dropped off in the middle of nowhere, starving, injured or just neglected with no human contact or love. Every dog deserves love and attention, medical treatment when needed, a warm home to sleep, and socialization. But even more importantly, the only way to lessen the number of dogs in she

lters every year that are euthanized because there are not enough homes is to spay and neuter. No dog leaves my rescue without being spayed or neutered. All are also vaccinated and heartworm tested. All they want is to be loved and cared for. In return they will love you unconditionally for as long as they can.

This is what love can do! Pebbles turned out to be a Willie. He came in at .62 in weight. He was severely flea anemic. Very malnourished. I didn't know if I could pull him through. 5 weeks later he is just under 2 pounds and thriving. He is the first one to put his face in the food every morning. He purrs louder than any other kitten. Soon he will get his first shots and be neutered. We are so very glad he is here

Update on Noah. He spent most of the day at the vet. Bloodwork normal. Tests were negative. Slight fever and slightly dehydrated. I also learned he has now gained 1 full pound in 4 days. He will be on antibiotics for several days and also will get a steroid cream on his poor little sore bottom. He is glad to be home and is now resting.

We just dropped little Noah off at the vet. My instincts told me something just isnt right. Not at all active, not purring, not drinking much water and lethargic.
