Second Chance Animal Services is a nonprofit animal welfare organization founded in 1999. Second Chance began as an animal shelter and grew to help more pets in need. Today SCAS operates four Community Veterinary Hospitals in North Brookfield, Southbridge, Springfield, and Worcester providing access to the highest-quality veterinary care for all. Subsidized rates are provided to underserved commun

ities to ensure access to care for all pets in need. Second Chance helps over 40,000 pets a year through full-service veterinary care, spay/neuter services, adoption services, community & educational outreach programs, training, and a pet food pantry. Clover is a sweet, affectionate girl who has so much love to give. 💕 She’s playful, active, and happiest when she has something to do, but after some fun, she’s ready to curl up with her favorite people for some well-deserved cuddles.

Clover is looking for a home where she can be the one and only pet. She can be reactive toward other dogs, so she’ll need a family who understands her needs. She also has a medical clause, and our team would be happy to talk with potential adopters about what that means for her care.

Senior cat looking for a quiet retirement home to rule over! 👑💤

Meet Jojo, the ultimate low-maintenance roommate - currently in a temporary foster home.

Jojo is a senior male cat who is a calm, low-key companion. He’s never lived with other animals, so he’d do best as the only pet in a quiet home. He’s not demanding— he enjoys a warm place to rest, a predictable routine, and some gentle affection.

Jojo does have FHV (Feline Herpes Virus) - but don't worry this doesn't slow him down and is only contagious to cats. At his advanced age he is in the early stages of kidney disease, so he’ll need an adopter who can stay on top of vet care and monitor his health. Otherwise, he’s a straightforward, easygoing cat who just wants a comfortable place to settle in.

If you’re looking for a mellow, independent cat and can offer a stable, low-stress environment, he could be a great fit! Jojo is in a temporary foster home, so please call the adoption center at 508-867-5525 or email [email protected] for more info or to schedule a meet & greet!

We just wanted to send over a few photos and give you a little update on our two cats! 🐾

Mr. Bigote (renamed him Winston) was adopted by us in September last year and Buster (renamed him Oliver) joined our family last Thursday. We wanted to share how wonderfully they are doing together! They have been getting along so well, and it has been so sweet watching their relationship grow.

We are so happy with both of them and feel incredibly lucky to have them as part of our family. They are both doing amazing, and we just wanted to share a little glimpse of how happy they are together!
