Baylor is a 3-year-old tuxedo boy whose big, soulful eyes are the first thing you’ll notice, and you'll melt at the way he looks at you with admiration. He’s been nothing but loving since coming into our care, and the moment you start petting him, he seems to escape into pure happiness.

This sweet boy isn’t shy about letting you know how he's feeling either. He has a meow so unique to him that he'll use to grab your attention. Baylor is kind and curious, ready to learn more about the world of toys and those wands all the other cats go crazy for.

We believe Baylor will fit in wonderfully with pet friends, whether that’s another cat or even a dog. He’ll do best in a home with a primarily female presence, where he'll feel secure and continue to flourish. Most of all, Baylor just wants a safe, loving home to call his own.

"Hey, lover boy!" That's how we call this sweet baby, Stitch. He is the very definition of lap cat. (*See note below) This silly little boy loves to be held, pet, and just to cuddle up in your lap. He does play, because what kitten doesn't, but often times he would much rather watch the other kittens play from the view on your lap. If you love to cuddle then this boy is ready to climb into your lap and into your heart.

*Lap cat: A cat that enjoys sitting on a person's lap, typically for extended periods of time, and often for cuddling and napping. AKA: Stitch.

Stitch is around 5 months old and he is neutered, microchipped FeLv/Fiv- negative/negative, vaccinated, been treated with topical flea control and dewormed.

Stitch needs a home that has at least one other friendly cat/kitten. Young kittens need a lot of attention and learning from other kitties is necessary for their emotional and behavioral development.

Update: Teddy has been Adopted. ❤️

Everyone wishes at some point that their teddy bear is real. Well we have a real life teddy here, and his name just happens to be Teddy. This handsome little guy is super snuggly and soft, and loves his cuddle time, especially after a hearty meal. This bouncing boy really loves his food, he'll even stick out his little paw to protect his bowl from his siblings, it's so cute! Like most energetic little kittens teddy loves to play with his siblings and chase his toys around. He is a popular boy and gets along well with his littermates, other older cats, and even dogs. Are you ready to take home a beautiful baby who is always good for a snuggle?

Teddy is around 12 weeks old and he’s had his first vaccines, been treated with topical flea control and dewormed.

Teddy is a ‘Foster to Adopt' kitty which simply means he hasn’t been neutered yet, but you can still take him home and love on him until he’s ready to be neutered in a few more weeks. He’s scheduled for 10/16/25 to be neutered! After he gets neutered, he’ll be yours to keep, and the adoption will be complete.

Teddy needs a home that has another friendly cat/kitten or better yet, adopt him with his sister Trixie or one of his brothers Tommy or Timmy. Young kittens need a lot of attention and learning from other kitties is necessary for their emotional and behavioral development.

📢 Volunteer Opportunity: Direct Cat Care & Socialization

Cat by Cat Inc. is seeking dedicated and reliable volunteers to help care for cats at our East Amherst location. Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring our cats receive the highest quality of care while they await their forever homes. Training will be provided!

Responsibilities include:
🐾 Spending time with cats to encourage trust, comfort, and socialization
🐾 Feeding and providing fresh water
🐾 Scooping and maintaining clean litter boxes
🐾 General tidying of cat areas

Requirements:
🐾 Ability to commit to a set shift weekly or biweekly (morning and evening shifts available; training provided)
🐾 Dependable, compassionate, and able to follow established care protocols
🐾 Within driving distance to East Amherst

This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of community cats while working alongside a team of passionate volunteers.

Meet our tuxedo heartthrob, Eclipse! Like a solar eclipse, when the bright sun is hidden behind the moon, Eclipse likes to keep his sweet side a little hidden. However once he settles in his sweet bright side shines. Eclipse is truly a sweet and loving boy. This handsome boy would love a family to call his own. Meet Timmy, a sweet and gentle soul who enjoys life at a calmer pace than his siblings. He loves nothing more than curling up for snuggles, making him the perfect companion for someone who wants a loving and affectionate friend by their side. His mellow personality shines through in the way he takes everything in stride, creating a sense of warmth and comfort wherever he goes.

Timmy is also a smart and curious little adventurer. He was the first of his litter to figure out the kitty door and the water fountain, always eager to explore new things and learn quickly. Whether it’s discovering a new spot in the house or finding fun ways to play, he brings both intelligence and curiosity to his everyday adventures.

When it’s playtime, Timmy lights up with joy, chasing balls and springs with enthusiasm. He gets along wonderfully with older cats and dogs, showing that his easygoing nature extends to his furry companions as well. With his gentle spirit and playful heart, Timmy is ready to bring love, companionship, and a touch of adventure to his forever home.

This means he hasn’t been fixed yet, but you can still take him home and love on him. Once he’s fixed he’ll be yours to keep and the adoption would be complete. Now that she doesn't have to worry about where her next meal is coming from she's starting to enjoy life! Muffin is a laid back, chill girl who loves pets, a good ear scritch, and even being brushed. Our mellow Muffin is a great fit for a family with dogs or other cats as she does well with both in her foster home. Muffin is looking for somewhere to crash where she can call home along with a family to show her the love, patience, and easy life that she deserves.
