This is your reminder to not feel guilty for not giving your puppy ALL the freedom right now. Puppies are babies and it’s our job as owners to make sure we are managing them and training them properly. The first year of their life is going to need to be FULL of structure so when they grow into adulthood they know how to self regulate, make good choices, and well deserved freedom!

I wanted to personally share some exciting news—my family is growing! I’m expecting a baby and will be taking a maternity leave from August through the end of November-During this time, I’ll be stepping away from in-person training sessions.

💛You should be crating/securing your dog when traveling with them in the car. Why you ask?

A crate is hands down the safest and most secure way to go. It gives your dog a cozy den-like space, keeps them protected during sudden stops, and prevents distractions while driving. Investing in a high-quality crate is one of the best decisions you can make for your dog’s safety and comfort on the road. We like to use our when taking drives! Long or short distance the crate is the way to go!

Not ready for a crate? Dog seat belts can be a decent alternative—but they don’t offer the same level of protection in a crash. Safety first, always!

Say Hey to Blu! This handsome boy is finishing up our five day board and train program where we touched up his sit, down, and stay! He’s been stubborn but he’s starting to learn I’m even more stubborn. It’s important to remember, when you ask your dog to do something to make sure you follow through every time! This way our dogs learn down isn’t optional! We are proud of Blus progress and can’t wait for his owners to continue his training when he goes home!

Say hey to the handsome but very shy and nervous Massivo! This guy has been apart of our 2 week daytrain program where we have worked on confidence building, leash work, e collar intro, and all the basics. He’s come a long way but will definitely need to have continued confidence building and socialization to ensure he’s a confident happy boy.
