Wow! The Walk for the Animals was incredible!!! 💓💓

From all the adorable pups and their people who came, to the great, local vendors, to the amazing raffle prizes - all to help the animals of Durham! 🥳 And, the last we heard, has raised almost $110,000 of their goal!

There's still time to help them reach their goal! 🐕🐱🐾

Update: Four weeks without Pacino. 💔

The beautiful orange and white cat in this photo is Pacino — gentle, affectionate, playful, and deeply connected to our family. He adored caring for and playing with his two kitten sisters, and our home feels incomplete without him.

Because Pacino is extremely friendly and social, we still worry he may have been mistaken for a stray and unintentionally taken in by someone trying to help him. He is microchipped, deeply loved, and very missed.

We are offering a monetary reward for his safe return — no questions asked.

Please continue sharing, checking garages/sheds, and keeping an eye out for a friendly orange and white cat in the SW Durham area (27707).

ADOPTABLE EDDIE UPDATE 🐕

Sweet EDDIE has been in his new foster home for about a week now and he's settled in really well! He's enjoying getting to know his new digs, still loves to cuddle, and enjoys getting out for slow-paced walks! 🥰

EDDIE is still waiting for a furrever home who will guide him with love and patience, to be the sweet, funny, carefree guy Kate has known him to become. If you're interested he's available through The Animal Protection Society of Durham 🐶💜

Did you hear?! Today is NATIONAL ADOPT A SHELTER PET DAY!! 🎉

While we celebrate today, we think EVERY DAY is a great day to adopt a shelter pet -- including EDDIE here -- who is ADOPTABLE through The Animal Protection Society of Durham! 🥰

Eddie has been in foster care with Kate Turlington, learning how to live the good life while recovering from heartworm treatment.

Eddie is a funny and sweet boy, who is eager to please, LOVES to cuddle, and enjoys chomping on bones and stuffies.

He is house-trained, crate-trained, easy on leash, and knows some commands.
