🐾 Meet Krista! 🐾

Krista joined the P3 family in June 2024 and has been keeping us all on track ever since! One of her favorite things about working at Paula’s Pawsome Pets is the family atmosphere. From supporting one another to sharing laughs, she loves being part of a team that truly cares about each other and the pets we serve.

When it comes to picking a favorite animal, Krista simply can’t do it! She adores every member of the P3 family and loves getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether they’re covered in fur, feathers, or anything in between, she makes sure they feel safe, happy, and loved.

Krista is also one of the superheroes working behind the scenes. She helps manage scheduling and keeps everything organized through our Time To Pet system, making sure visits, updates, and client care run as smoothly as possible.

And honestly? Without Krista, we’d probably be riding the Hot Mess Express 24/7! 🚂😂 Her organization, attention to detail, and behind-the-scenes magic help keep the entire P3 family running smoothly.

Abby is a proud Durham, North Carolina native with a lifelong love for animals, family, and community. She attended North Carolina State University for Elementary Education and later earned her degree in School Administration & Leadership from Appalachian State University.

At home, life is busy, loud, loving, and full of personality — just the way Abby likes it! She shares her home with her husband, Zach, their children Gunnar, Marianna, and Noa Lily, and her brother-in-law, Jordan. Their home wouldn’t be complete without their incredible crew of pets: Blue the Blue Heeler (the grumpy old alpha), Rosie the German Shepherd, Maverick the Rottie mix, Tootsie Roll the Pit Bull, June Bug the sweet senior cat, Winks the spunky rescue cat Zach saved from under a house years ago, and Finn the Bearded Dragon.

With a lifetime of experience caring for animals and a natural nurturing spirit, Abby loves building relationships with pets and their families. Whether she’s providing walks, visits, pet sitting, or extra TLC, she treats every pet as if they were her own.

Her passion for animals, combined with her caring nature and attention to detail, makes her a wonderful part of the Paula’s Pawsome Pets team. Abby loves getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away.

🐾 Meet LeAnn! 🐾

LeAnn has loved animals for as long as she can remember. Growing up surrounded by dogs, caring for animals has always been a meaningful part of her life. Her mema had cats everywhere, and LeAnn loved helping care for them and showing them affection, believing that every animal—even a stray—deserves kindness when they’re comfortable receiving it. Her dada also had hunting dogs, and she always enjoyed helping care for them as well.

Animals have been a part of LeAnn’s life since childhood, and that love continues today with her two dogs, Rattler and Ghost, who are truly her babies. She loves them endlessly and would do absolutely anything for them.

LeAnn joined the P3 family in May 2026, and we are so excited to have her on our team! She looks forward to caring for all of our furry babies with the same love, patience, and dedication she gives her own pets every single day. 💜🐾

🐾 Meet the Team: Alex! 🐾

Alex has loved animals for as long as she can remember, and her passion for animal care extends far beyond pet sitting. During college at FGCU, she was actively involved in Project Potcake, serving first as Treasurer and later as President. The organization worked to find loving homes for stray dogs in the Caribbean, funded veterinary care and sterilization efforts for dogs remaining on the islands, and promoted the importance of spaying and neutering to help reduce homeless pet populations in the Fort Myers community.

Through fundraising efforts like baking and selling dog biscuits, face painting, and other student events, Alex and her team raised enough money to host a spay and neuter clinic in San Salvador, Bahamas—an experience she is incredibly proud of.

As a pet parent herself to Charlie, her Jack Russell/Beagle mix, and Macklemore, her leopard gecko, Alex understands just how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your furry (or scaly!) family members.

When she’s not spending time with pets, Alex is a proud single mom to her son. One of her favorite parts of working at P3 is creating special bonds with every pet she cares for and making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while their families are away.

🐾 Meet Chandler! 🐾

Chandler grew up surrounded by animals and has loved them for as long as she can remember. From having dogs at home to helping her uncle care for animals on the farm, she gained hands-on experience with cows, horses, and many other animals from an early age.

Her love for animals extends to all creatures, big and small. If she had to pick a favorite wild animal, it would be a kangaroo or a giraffe—but dogs will always hold the number one spot in her heart. 🦒🦘🐶

Chandler loves spending time with animals and takes pride in making sure every pet she cares for feels happy, safe, and loved.

Landon Johnson joined Paula’s Pawsome Pets in January 2025 and quickly became a valued part of the P3 family! One of his favorite things about working at P3 is the incredible team he gets to work alongside every day. He loves being part of such a supportive, passionate group of animal lovers and enjoys the strong connections built between both staff and pets.

One of the most rewarding parts of the job for Landon is creating lasting bonds with the animals in his care and becoming a trusted part of their lives. Every day brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and continue doing what he loves most—caring for animals. ❤️🐾
