🦷💚 Dental health matters — and Astrid’s family knows it!
She traveled all the way from Traverse City for her dental surgery with us, and today’s follow‑up showed she’s healing beautifully. We’re so proud of how well she’s doing. 🐾✨

🚧Did you know that dental disease is one of the most common health issues in cats and dogs?

😿🐶Plaque and tartar can build up quickly, leading to pain, infection, tooth loss, and even effects on the heart, liver, and kidneys if left untreated. Pets are experts at hiding discomfort, so many families don’t realize their pet is hurting until the disease is advanced.

🪥😻That’s why routine dental exams and cleanings are so important — they help catch problems early, keep pets comfortable, and support long‑term health.

🦠🐾 Lyme Disease Awareness!

As the weather warms up, ticks become more active — and that means a higher risk of Lyme disease for pets here in Michigan. Even pets who only go outside for short potty breaks can be exposed.

📣What Michigan Pet Owners Should Know:
✔️ Ticks can be active anytime temperatures are above 40°F
✔️ Early prevention is far easier — and safer — than treatment
✔️ Lyme disease is spread by the black legged (deer) tick, which is common throughout Michigan
