Diana is serving big eyes, tiny tail, and absolutely no shortage of personality. 🖤

This gorgeous girl has been with us for far too long, and we’d really love to see her finally get her turn. She’s funny, expressive, and has a way of making herself memorable to everyone who gets to know her. Plus, that little nub tail? Impossible not to love. 🐾

Lorien is enjoying her Caturday evening exactly as she should. A little lounging, a little playtime, and absolutely zero plans to be productive! 🐾

Yahtzee has generously offered to help with shelter cleaning shifts, but he's very limited without thumbs, so he's going to take a more hands-off approach. 😼 That being said, we need volunteers on Tuesday and Friday mornings! App is below, please send it back via FB or e-mail if you can help!

Terra Cotta may be looking lovingly into the camera, but we all know who she really has eyes for. 😂🧡

Her friend Mr. Tibbs remains firmly at the top of TC’s favorite things list, but a few select humans have managed to earn their way into her good graces too. Once you’re approved, she’s happy to accept some pets and attention… when her schedule allows, of course.

TC is a funny, sweet girl who has come such a long way with us, and watching her become comfortable enough to show off more and more of her personality has been such a treat. Now we’d love to find the right home to appreciate her exactly as she is. And while Terra Cotta is FIV+, she’s living proof that an FIV diagnosis doesn’t define a cat.

🎉 A huge thank you to this week’s top engagers!

Every like, comment, and share helps our posts travel a little farther. More eyes on our page means more people discovering our adoptable cats, learning about the work we do, and seeing the many different ways we help cats throughout our community. 💙

Friends like Bogart are a perfect example. He had been hanging around a local neighborhood looking pretty rough, including an injured leg, before our volunteers convinced him that inside life might actually be worth a try. Now he’s safe, cared for, and discovering that the life of luxury includes regular meals, plenty of attention, and occasionally being carried around like the very important gentleman he is. 😂🐾

Your support helps us care for the cats in our shelter, step in for medically needy cats, support local feral communities, and give cats like Bogart a chance at something better.

Whether you donate, volunteer, interact with our posts, or simply cheer us on from afar, you’re helping make that work possible. Thank you for being part of the Monroe SPCA family and helping us change lives, one cat at a time.

Wasabi would like everyone to know that yes, this bag is occupied. 😂🖤

This spicy little lady is equal parts silly, curious, and ready to PLAY. Whether she’s investigating a new hiding spot, chasing toys, or inventing her own entertainment, Wasabi knows how to keep life interesting. She’s got plenty of personality packed into that tiny black cat package.

Meet the grateful faces of the feral felines in our community! 🐱 These cats are a part of a few close-knit family colonies that have human caretakers, but they didn't have the means to pay for 20-30 spays & struggled to keep them fed as their population would keep growing. We've been working through the summer to get these colonies stable - we do this through Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR), providing vet care (like for URIs), vaccinating, and helping provide a stable food source. We can only do this life-saving work with your help and it has come in clutch over the past few months! Right now, we need cat chow to help keep these felines fed.
Special Kitty from Walmart is the best value but any type of wet and/or dry food is appreciated 🥰

So many of you have followed Lil Bit’s unexpected journey back to us, and we’re very happy to finally say… Lil Bit is ready for adoption! 💚

After everything this girl has been through, she has settled back into shelter life and shown us exactly who she is: a sweet girl with just the right amount of spice. 🌶️ Lil Bit is playful, curious, and VERY eager for affection. Head rubs are particularly important business around here, and she will happily remind you when she thinks she’s due for some. 😂

We’re hoping to find her the forever home that sticks. 🧡 Email [email protected] to learn more about adopting this spicy ginger 🐾
