Monroe Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Monroe SPCA) is a 501c.3 tax-exempt, not-for-profit animal welfare and protection organization incorporated in the State of Michigan in 2010. Monroe SPCA is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. We also proudly host a membership society open to anyone interested in animal welfare. Monroe SPCA’s mission is to save, protect, and improve

the lives of animals. In fulfilling our mission we intend to be a leader in promoting humane values, preventing cruelty to animals, ending animal homelessness, and providing protection to and responsible placement of animals in-need.

Paddy and Jett were recently adoption pending, but due to an unexpected allergy in the home, they’re back with us and ready to find the right match. These boys are sweet, social, and easy to love.

Jett is a confident explorer who thrives on affection and attention. Paddy is more of a softie—he’s been known to steal another cat’s bed if it looks cozier than his. Together, they make an incredibly endearing pair.

Whether they’re snoozing, playing, or supervising the shelter hustle, these two are always nearby with good vibes to spare.

Who's that you spy? Its a new Monroe SPCA family member! This is Everly, a very young kitten found by herself (no mom or siblings in the area) by the family of a previous adoptee. She was quickly brought into an emergency foster home, where she was treated for worms and a bad case of malnourishment - an unwelcome tick was removed too. She's been a feisty girl in foster; when not chomping on food, she's chomping on anything else she deems her quarry. Her future family will have their hands full with this one. 😉
