Monroe Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Monroe SPCA envisions a humane no kill community where people treat each other and animals wth kindness, respect, and empathy.

Monroe Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Monroe SPCA) is a 501c.3 tax-exempt, not-for-profit animal welfare and protection organization incorporated in the State of Michigan in 2010. Monroe SPCA is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. We also proudly host a membership society open to anyone interested in animal welfare. Monroe SPCA’s mission is to save, protect, and improve

the lives of animals. In fulfilling our mission we intend to be a leader in promoting humane values, preventing cruelty to animals, ending animal homelessness, and providing protection to and responsible placement of animals in-need.

This adventurous little guy is always on the move, climbing, exploring, and investigating every corner of the room. And if you happen to have a Churu? Congratulations, you’ve instantly become his favorite person. He’s a playful, food motivated bundle of fun who’s ready to bring plenty of laughs (and probably a little food related mischief) to his forever home. 🐾💚

This silly guy is full of personality, always ready for a game, a zoom around the room, or a visit with his friends. Yahtzee has never met a string toy he didn’t love, and he’s more than happy to bop your hand for a little extra attention.

This playful, opinionated queen knows exactly what she likes: cozy spots, attention from her people, and being told how pretty she is. One of our longest residents here at the shelter, Nora is more than ready to find a home to call her own.

She does require a special diet and daily medication to keep her feeling her best, but she handles her routine like a pro. In return, you’ll get a cat full of personality, affection, and just enough sass to keep life interesting.
