We have a happy update on a former Warm Fuzzy, " Milo!" He was adopted about two years ago. He was originally given up as a single kitten by a family that had to move away and could not take him with.
Here is Sara's note:
"It’s been a while, but I have a Milo update for you!
I have been managing Milo’s breathing problems with a medication prescribed by his vet, and it seems to be working well for him. He really is just a simple guy though! He loves his adopted brother Banjo so much, they play and snuggle daily so he is occupied even when I am away from home. Milo is also just the most snuggly cat I have ever met! He will climb up on my fiancé and me (or really anyone) and will make himself comfortable while soaking up the attention. Everyone I have ever had over loves him so much, he isn’t afraid to come up to them and get some love and attention. He is also still so kind and gentle, since I’ve brought him home he has never bitten or scratched me or anyone else. He is still the most perfect cat for my home, and he seems really really happy here! He is also a very goofy guy, he makes the funniest faces and noises, and will sometimes just randomly jump around joyously like he’s got springs in his feet. We have noticed any time the chocolate comes out he is all over it and seems to have an obsession for it, so we have to keep a close eye on any chocolate in the home and make sure he doesn’t get any because he is just so interested (he must take after me 😂). I love this guy so much, thank you for bringing us together almost two years ago! "

We have a happy update from Kerry, who adopted some shy kittens from us years ago! She included the pictures of them when they were little. Love to see them doing so well and seeing such a cat-friendly home including a catio! Here is Kerry's note:
Lori, today (January 8) is gotcha day 7 years ago for Rocky and Pluto. They are about 7.5 years old.

We have 4 cats, 2 from Warm Fuzzies and 2 from AA.

Rocky is a long-haired fluff ball and needs a haircut every year. He loves rotisserie chicken and is a bit on the chunky side. He loves to sleep by me, is a bit spicy, and talks back. Still a bit skittish, but warms up to me!

Pluto aka Bootsie, formerly known as Sparrow, is also a bit skittish, but is my little buddy. He loves to sit on his cat perch or my lap, plays with toys, and drinks water from the sink.

They spend time in their catio watching chipmunks in the summer, and watch deer in the winter from their cat perches. They all sleep with me and watch cat tv. They like food and treats. They are spoiled.
Thank you, Kerry, for sharing all the great pictures and updates on your cats. Love to see the former fosters doing so well and so happy you accept their "skittish" personalities! I do remember caring for them so long ago! A great kitty loving home! ❤💋😆

We have a happy update on a former Warm Fuzzy, " Punkin" who was adopted a couple of years ago!
Here is Hanna's note:
Hello! It’s been over 2 years since I’ve adopted Punkin now and I wanted to give you guys an update! This boy has SO much personality, he absolutely gives me attitude when I refuse to open the window for him to sit in. His skin issues continued for quite some time but working with the vet I think we have finally found the right combination that works! He still loves going on walks in his harness and loves making me chase after him chasing little bugs in the grass. He’s even gotten the chance to climb some short trees, he’s very adventurous. He’s a very cuddly boy, and if he’s not in your lap you can find him cuddled up under a blanket. We have started a system of me being his ride everywhere, he will jump onto my back and just sit there until I take him to the correct place he wants to go (sometimes he just wants to lay on my back, guess it’s more comfortable than my lap!) He’s very good at telling me what he wants and he’s currently learning how to bring back the toys he chases! I love life with Punkin so much and am so grateful for him everyday!

Thank you for sharing the nice note and pictures of sweet Punkin! So happy he is doing well! It warms our hearts!

Hanna sent us an update on a former Warm Fuzzy, " Willow" who is now named " Kanga!" This kitten had originally been given up by her original owners.
Hanna came along just in time to give her a permanent, loving home and that was SIX YEARS ago!
She looks beautiful and healthy! Thank you so much for sharing this sweet update and pictures. It warms our hearts! We have included some of the pictures during and after her adoption back then!

Louise posted an update on a former Warm Fuzzy! She was originally named "Morticia' because of her long, flowing, dark coat. She was renamed " Betty." I remember she was shy at first, but Louise managed to help her " warm up" and become a part of the family!
Here is Louise's note:
"My cat Betty will never lay on my lap. Instead, she lays on the couch right above me and either stares at me or sleeps. She is a very soft, sweet cat." ❤💋😁Thank you for posting!

Linda shared an update on a kitty named " Dani" she adopted through Warm Fuzzies about FIVE years ago. This sweet one was found as a baby kitten running around in a garage all alone! Linda says she keeps her feet warm!

We have a happy update on Harry from Lisa! This is her note:
"It’s been one year today that we adopted Harry, he goes by Kratos now. It’s been such a joy to have around. He’s definitely mischievous lol. My son absolutely adores him and will be moving to the Twin Cities this summer with my son." 💕

Thank you so much for sharing, I remember he had a pretty black tabby coat and I am so happy he is loving life in his new home! Thank you for adopting him LIsa and Ryan!

Today is " Give to the Max" day in MN. We appreciate all of you that have supported us through the years!
We have had many come forward and support the most needy situations we have run into with the cats!
Some bad situations include cats that have been stuck in or injured by FUR TRAPS that were left unattended! We had taken in a mother cat that was trying to feed her babies while having part of a trap stuck on her! Thankfully she did survive and moved to a loving home after all her vet appointments and when her babies were weaned!
We have a heart for those cats found sadly, abandoned and living on the streets. There are way too many homeless cats out there!
Please remember to spay or neuter your cats as soon as possible and to remind others how important it is. I don't understand why we still have this problem in society. Thank you! 😪😖
