NEW VETERINARIAN COMES TO HERMANTOWN! Hermantown Veterinary Services is thrilled to announce the addition of Dr. Kelly Straka to our team. Dr. Straka brings the strength of one of Veterinary Medicine's most unique backgrounds to serve patients in the Twin Ports. Dr. Straka has developed extensive experience caring for multiple species throughout her career; from wildlife to domestic pets and livestock. She has most recently served as the Director of Fish and Wildlife for the State of Minnesota, as has led wildlife health operations and programs in both Michigan and Missouri. She earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and master's degree in public health from the University of Minnesota in 2012 and 2014. She has a passion for hunting dogs and is excited to once again be providing direct patient care through H.V.S. Dr. Kelly and her husband Tom reside in Proctor on their hobby farm with their two sons Dylan and Charlie. The Straka family are also dedicated volunteers and supporters of multiple Conservation organizations, as well as youth athletics. They make a tremendous addition to our Veterinary Community.
