Hi Gary!! He came to see us for a few suspected respiratory issues. He is an awesome slider turtle! 🐢 (also featuring one of our reptile experts Cody! 😀)

Look who stopped by! 🐾 Rosie, is a sweet 7 year old Golden Retriever. She came in for her routine exam and vaccine update and she handled it like the pro she is. She was even ready to take her leash and show us which way to go! :) We love seeing our patients staying on top of their preventive care. Way to go, Rosie! 💛

⚠️ slightly gross, very educational! ⚠️

What you’re looking at are LIVE ear mites under our microscope, taken from a sample during an exam.

This is exactly why we recommend having itchy ears, head shaking, or ear scratching checked out.

The good news? Ear mites are easily treatable once we spot them.

Has your pet been scratching at their ears lately?

🌟 We're SO excited to introduce the newest member of the CVC family — Dr. Katie Eckart!

Dr. Eckart joined us in May and we couldn't be more thrilled to have her on the team. She grew up in South-Central Ohio on a family farm raising sheep and goats, and her love for animals started early — especially during those chilly winter mornings when new lambs arrived. A proud FFA and 4-H alumna, she went on to earn her Animal Sciences degree from The Ohio State University before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at OSU in 2022.

Dr. Eckart is passionate about building real partnerships with pet families — from that very first puppy visit all the way through the senior years. She deeply values the human-animal bond and is committed to being there for you and your pet at every stage of life.

Outside the clinic, she loves spending time with her husband, her two-year-old son, and extended family. She's active in her church, serves in children's ministry, and enjoys running, hiking, and walking her very own senior hound dog, Redd. 🐾

Please join us in giving Dr. Eckart the warmest welcome — we know she is going to make a meaningful difference for the pets and families we serve!

Look at this handsome boy! 🐾 Momo, our gentle Great Pyrenees friend, stopped by to get up to date on his yearly vaccines. Staying current on vaccinations is one of the easiest ways to keep your pup healthy and protected all year long. Thanks for being such a good patient, Momo! 💙

🐾 We have a happy update to share! Sven was hospitalized for Addison’s disease — but we’re thrilled to report he is doing great and on the road to recovery!

Addison’s disease can be tricky to diagnose, but with the right care and treatment, dogs like Sven can go on to live full, happy lives. We’re so proud of how tough this pup has been through it all! 🐶❤️

A huge thank you to Sven’s family for trusting us with his care — it truly means the world to our team. We can’t wait to see that wagging tail at your next visit! 🏥✨
