Happy Howl-o-ween! 🎃

10/30/2026

Halloween is all about sweet treats and spooky fun, but those goodies can spell trouble for our furry friends. 🦇Chocolate, raisins, and sugar-free candies are especially dangerous for pets: even a small amount can lead to an emergency vet visit. Be sure to store your candy bowl high up and out of reach, and remind guests to do the same. Got a clever way to keep curious noses out of the stash? Share your best tips or pet-proofing hacks below - let’s help keep every pet safe this Halloween! 🎃

Enroll your pet into one of our wellness plans and enjoy unlimited exams - even if your dog or cat needs 4 rechecks in a month, or needs to come daily for medication administration! We were recently featured in an article from Umbrella Local Heroes! 💚

Our practice manager, Lizza, had the opportunity to share a little about Good Life Veterinary Care, the values behind the practice Dr. Beck has built, and why being independently owned matters to us.

From research-driven medicine to taking the time to really get to know our patients and their families, we're proud of the approach to veterinary care our team works hard to provide every day.

Thank you to Umbrella Local Heroes for sharing our story!

How an independent veterinary clinic is putting pets and their owners first. A visit to the veterinarian can be an overwhelming experience for both pets and their owners, particularly when health concerns arise or unfamiliar procedures are involved. It’s Fluffy Friday and have we got a puppy for you - this is Zara the teeniest, fuzziest, dapple dachshund 🥹 Tina got to snuggle her when her dad brought her to say hi and we can’t wait to see her again today! (We tried to hire her to work at the front desk but she loves her mom and dad too much to be away from them that long 😉)

Knot today stress, knot today 😎

To celebrate tech week we had Cristine treat our staff to massages! She brought her van and it was fabulous - private, relaxing and so beautifully decorated. 10/10 recommend anyone looking for massages or a group event!
