Nala is the IronHorse pet of the week! 👑

Nala presented with some muscle stiffness and was diagnosed with tetanus. Tetanus is caused by a specific type of bacteria, usually from a previous wound in the mouth or paws where the bacteria likely entered. Treatment is based on treating clinical signs, while killing the bacteria and neutralizing the toxin it creates 🦠

Nala was successfully treated by our amazing team of doctors and technicians, and went home to her parents and her favourite stuffy! 💕
