We are excited to introduce our new partnership with Stringtown Animal Hospital, providing comprehensive care including spay, neuter and dental procedures to our greyhounds, as they transition from racing to retirement. We would also like to highlight "Kenzie" (Omaha Spokane) as the first patient to receive her spay, dental and follow-up visit. She has recovered remarkably well as she is seen here with her favorite octopus stuffie!

It's official... our TG Adopter's Picnic will be held on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14th from 12-2 at Infirmary Mound Park in Granville (just east of Columbus). It's a beautiful location with a safely fenced area reserved just for our dogs to RUN!

In the last 25 years, we've found homes for over 2,200 greyhounds. This fundraiser helps us to be able to continue that mission.

When you tell your greyhound you are going to a "spa" for a cool down and a massage (wink, wink 😉 "bath"). Then you get there and he gives you this look because he knows he has been duped!

🐾PENDING ADOPTION 🐾

Got cats? Well, this delightful girl Kenzie doesn't mind! She has been living with a cat and a couple of sighthounds for the last few months. She is the sweetest girl and has settled in nicely in her foster home. Kenzie knows no strangers, loves to go on walks or outings and prefers a big fluffy bed (or the couch 😉) to her crate. This beautiful, dark brindle PRINCESS prefers a home with another greyhound for a companion and her servants to be home more often than not.

Kenzie would really love to celebrate her upcoming 3rd birthday in her forever home (she will expect a royal party, no doubt!). On the top of her gift list are yummy treats and squeaky toys!

LOST GREYHOUND in New Carlisle, Ohio
We started a new update post this morning 7/15 for those who can help.
UPDATE Monday 10:30pm- Please do not search on foot tomorrow. Trapper knows her stuff & dog is in flight mode. We have a couple folks to bring flyers to Farmers Market. And report any sightings, but do not search on foot, nor call out to the lost dog. If you want to pass out flyers or drive in your car for sightings, send email to us and request flyer. or pm Prison Greyhounds.

UPDATE: While Eye in The Sky (Chris) is setting up, no foot patrols. We might scare the dog away. We have also hired a trapper in the area. No calling for the dog. She is in flight mode and doesn't know any of your voices. Please defer to EYE IN THE SKY & Kylie the TRAPPER for "does and dont's" . We appreciate the help - but they know lost dogs best!

UPDATE: No sightings yet, but drone search starts at 9pm. HOWEVER, Chris at Eye In The Sky said volunteers on foot, especially with greyhounds are welcomed. Be respectful of private residences. Dog is not really shy, just scared & in area new to her.
LOST: our brand new greyhound is running loose around Deering Farms Market, New Carlisle, Ohio. 7540 Lower Valley Pike, New Carlisle 45344. She got loose at the farmer's market and was last seen heading west. Might be afraid to approach men. Dog slipped her collar in transport. Female 2-year-old named CowLisa. We are looking to hire a professional lost pet finder, with thermal drones. But they can't start til 9pm. He said foot volunteers are welcome, especially with greyhounds. But any sightings can be pm to this facebook site. ... to be continued.
