🧡🐾 Nail trims for a cause are back! A pawdicure for your pup and a helping paw for shelter pets. 🐾🧡

Our PAWS fundraiser in May was an incredible success thanks to this amazing community, and we're thrilled to bring it back this Thanksgiving season!

Throughout November, PAWS - Providing Animal Welfare Services and Jess's Pampered Pups LLC are teaming up again to help local shelter animals in need.

Bring your pup by, support a great cause, and help us make a difference, one paw at a time. 🐶🍂

We can't wait to see lots of familiar faces (and paws!) 🐾

Angus and Fiona were in for their spa day, and as always, they brought plenty of personality! 🐾❤️

Fiona especially keeps me laughing. Her signature move is flopping onto the floor like a little frog and giving me those eyes that seem to say, "Excuse me... why did the treats stop?" 😂

And then there's Angus, who can turn his head so far around that I'm convinced he has owl DNA somewhere in his family tree. 😆

These two are such a joy to have in the salon, and it was wonderful spending time with them. ✨🐾

Papu’s first mohawk and he’s feeling himself 🤘🐩

He went from a fluffy cloud to a total badass in one groom;
Dad’s obsessed; Papu’s out here acting like he owns the block;
Next time we’re adding color; because this level of sass deserves highlights 😎🔥

I love sharing little success stories, and today it’s all about Betty.

When she came in for her first appointment, she was so unsure of anyone near her face she’d nip to protect herself, and I was extra careful not to scare her or push her too fast.

But today? Betty absolutely shined. She let me work on her face with zero hesitation, and at one point she even laid down and relaxed while I trimmed around her eyes and muzzle. Small steps until she is completely comfortable, but I’m so proud of this sweet girl. Slow and steady truly pays off, and watching her confidence grow has been such a joy.

In addition to providing a more comfortable and accessible space for our clients and their pups, one of the big reasons for our move into our expanded space has been to increase our appointment capacity, as we've been fully booked several weeks out.

We're adding capacity gradually and thoughtfully to ensure we continue to provide top-quality service and grooming quality our clients deserve as we grow.

We've opened up some additional appointment slots in October. If you've tried to book with us in the past and were concerned with the multi-week lead time, now is a great time to give us a try!

Sharing a longer story today, but an important one.

A little win for Quincy.
He was adopted from PAW by his wonderful parents, Roger and Susan, and grooming has always overwhelmed him: the bath, the dryer, even the handheld one.

Since his first appointment, we’ve taken slow, steady steps to help him get used to the dryer. Even while keeping things gentle, we turned it on at every visit so he could hear it and get familiar with it. His parents have stayed consistent with bath practice at home, and he’s nailed that part.

Today was his fourth groom, and they wanted his coat a bit longer for winter, so I hand-scissored him before his bath to shorten his drying time. He did great in the tub, and the dryer work finally showed. Lowest setting, no nozzle, and he stayed calm. We dried his body and the tops of his legs, and let him finish the rest in the kennel so we didn’t push too far.

It may seem small, but for Quincy, this was real progress.

If you’ve ever had a nervous pup, you know how these tiny steps add up.
We only see them every 6–8 weeks, so the little things done at home make a huge difference in their confidence.
