Say hello to Gus & Lyric! Gus is a sweet 7-year-old Lab mix, and his cousin Lyric is a playful 3-year-old Lab/Terrier mix. We absolutely adore these two!

Don’t let Gus’s size fool you—he’s a giant teddy bear at heart. Lyric is the perfect sidekick, always keeping Gus on his toes with her playful energy. Whether they’re running around together or just lounging in the sunshine, these two bring joy wherever they go.

Frank may be a big boy, but don’t let his size fool you — he’s the sweetest gentle giant. With energy for days, Frank is always on the move — sprinting around like a wild man, making new friends, and living his best life.

Angus is full of personality and charm—he’s the kind of pup who wins hearts wherever he goes. He loves spending time with his friends, going on long, leisurely walks, and winding down with some good old-fashioned cuddle time.

We’re thrilled to introduce the newest member of our pack—Beanie, an absolutely adorable Lab-Whippet mix!

Beanie might be new to the doggy den, but she’s already made a big impression. She’s got the perfect mix of sweetness and smarts—always eager to learn, quick to make new friends, and full of tail wags and cuddles.

Whether she’s zipping around during playtime or soaking up all the love from her new pals (both two-legged and four-legged), Beanie brings so much joy to our day. We can already tell she’s going to be a star in our crew!

Farewell to Our Sweet Lexi (aka Fathead)

Yesterday was Lexi’s last day at daycare, and to say we’re feeling emotional is an understatement.

Lexi—affectionately known around here as Fathead—has been with us since day one. She was one of the very first pups we had the honor of caring for, and she quickly became a beloved member of The Doody Queens family. Watching her grow, play, and charm everyone around her has been one of the greatest joys of our journey.

Now, she’s off to begin a brand new adventure out of state. While our hearts are heavy, we’re so excited for what lies ahead for her and her family.

Thank you, Lexi, for all the cuddles, tail wags, and unforgettable memories. And to her best buddy, Houdini—he’s already missing his partner in crime more than he knows.

You’ll always have a place in our hearts (and a VIP spot at the Den if you’re ever back in town!).

Wishing you all the belly rubs and sunny walks in your new home.

🐾 Pet of the Week: Zigo! 🐾
Everyone, make some noise for Zigo—an 8-year-old German Shepherd with charm, brains, and a serious stick obsession.

Zigo is the definition of a good boy. He loves long walks, toy time (the bigger the stick, the better), and gently herding his feline siblings like the responsible older brother he is.

He’s got the smarts, the looks, and the tail wags that make our hearts melt. The best part? The way he lights up every time we show up for a walk—pure joy in dog form.

We love you, Zigo. Keep being the legend that you are.
