🌧️ “It’s Me… Audi.” 🌧️
(PLEASE READ I NEED YOU!!!!.)

Hi… I’m Audi.
You probably don’t know me, but maybe you remember my puppies — the little “luxury car” babies. They all got their chance… every single one. They were saved, held, loved. And I was saved too — pulled off the euthanasia list at the very last moment.

But I was terrified when I came out of that shelter.
And the truth?
I still am.

I want to be brave. I do. Everyone keeps telling me I’m safe now, that no one is going to hurt me, that I don’t have to flinch anymore. But my heart hasn’t learned that yet. I watch the other dogs melt into their humans’ hands… and I wish so hard that could be me.

My foster mom — she’s been an angel. She’s given me patience, space, soft places to sleep. But she’s struggling with her own health now… and I can see the worry in her eyes. I’m trying not to be “too much,” but she hurts, and she needs help too.

So now…
I’m losing the only safe spot I’ve ever known.

And I’m begging — in the only way a scared dog knows how — for someone patient, gentle, and willing to teach me what love feels like.

I’m not broken… I’m just scared.
I don’t bite, I don’t fight… I just freeze. I shut down. I hide.
But I want to trust you.
I want to curl up without trembling.
I want to stop feeling like the world is a place I need to survive instead of live.

I’m beautiful. I’m quiet. I’m gentle.
I just need someone who won’t give up on me when I shake, or cower, or take a little longer to come out of my shell.

Please…
Please don’t let me be the one who got saved only to end up with nowhere to go.
I’ve been waiting so long for someone to say,
“Audi… you’re worth the effort.”
