Now that I’ve finally recovered enough to process the weekend… I just have to say how amazing the first RHAM show was!

I am SO proud of all my riders. From first-timers stepping into the pen for the very first time, to seasoned riders showing up and showing OUT — this weekend was full of moments worth celebrating.

✨ Aria placed 5th in her FIRST EVER class in walk/trot horsemanship!
✨ Sam had an incredible weekend placing 1st in ranchmanship, 4th in ranch reining, 1st in trail (which is somehow her least favorite class 😂), and 4th in boxing.
✨ Penny placed 5th in ranch reining and then beat her sister Sam in boxing by taking 3rd place — which I’m sure will be remembered forever. 😅
✨ Rees survived her first show since 2024, proved her horse is in fact pretty by placing 4th in conformation, AND placed 4th in ranch riding.
✨ Kari, at her VERY FIRST show on a horse she literally just bought, placed 4th in ranch riding!

And of course, huge shoutouts to the horses I showed this weekend — Kruz (Mr Boss Valentine) and Montey (Banana Pancakes owned by Lisa Smith) — for being absolute rockstars all weekend long. Kruz almost carried us to a Reserve Champion High Point for the weekend, and between both horses we brought home a whole lot of ribbons.

But honestly, the best part of the weekend wasn’t the placings. It was the way everyone supported each other. Cheering from the rail, helping each other out, celebrating every win — even some of my youth riders who weren’t showing still came by just to support the team.

Horse show weekends are exhausting, chaotic, dusty, loud, and somehow fueled entirely by caffeine and junk food… but weekends like this remind me exactly why I love doing this. One very proud coach over here. 🤍

🍿🐎 Support the Caliridge Equestrian Team! 🐎🍿

Show season is quickly approaching for the Caliridge Equestrian Team, and our riders have been working hard preparing for the months ahead. From long days at the barn to hours of practice in the arena, their dedication to their horses and their sport is incredible.

To help cover the costs of show season—such as entry fees, travel, and stalling—we’re hosting a Double Good Popcorn Fundraiser! Not only will you be supporting our team, but you’ll also get some amazing gourmet popcorn delivered right to your door.

Every purchase helps our riders get one step closer to the show pen and gives them the opportunity to compete, grow, and represent our team with pride.

If you’d like to support the Caliridge Equestrian Team, grab a bag (or a few!) of delicious popcorn and help us make this show season possible. Thank you for cheering on our riders! ❤️🐴
