Yesterday our team had one of those vet med days, we were an Emergency Room Hub, on top of conducting our scheduled appointments and surgeries (3 dental procedures and a 150 # neuter/gastropexy). But we wanted to be!
We assisted 3 families in helping their pets over the rainbow bridge
Took on 2 possible foreign body cases and helped them be comfortable through the night
Sent 1 employee home sick at 9am and all pulled together to make vet med magic happen.
Our two doctors worked these cases with all our support staff until nearly 9 at night and every one of them joined me again at 8am this morning and with a genuine smile.
Vet Med is not easy but when you do it with an amazing team that focuses on the patients and clients and not ourselves,
It can be so good.
It can feel so good.
And we can help so many.

No one is more proud of this team than Dr. Koski and myself, you ladies are what makes this community and this medicine at Dorr Vet spectacular.
