Milo gave his family quite a scare after swallowing his owner's ring. 💍

Fortunately, our team was able to safely remove it using endoscopy, avoiding the need for surgery!

We're happy to report that Milo is doing great and back to being his playful self. 🩵

Sweet Draco 🖤
This big ham, one of our very own staff pets, is currently fighting hard to get healthy after foreign body surgery. We're standing right by his side every step of the way, giving him all the love, cuddles, and support while he continues his recovery journey.

✨ Meet Bethany ✨

If you can’t find Beth around the hospital, there’s a good chance she’s sitting in a kennel keeping one of our patients company during her downtime 💕

Beth is one of our amazing nurses who works two jobs so she can continue learning and growing in vetmed to give the best care possible to every animal she meets.
When she’s not at the hospital, she loves video games, scary movies, and training her fish to do tricks! (not joking) 😂

We’re so lucky to have her kindness, humor, and dedication on our team!

Sweet Bailey girl 💕
After a little incident at the groomers, Bailey came to see Dr. Vega and was diagnosed with a severe eye ulcer that required surgery. Eye ulcers can become extremely serious very quickly and may even threaten vision if not treated promptly.

Certain breeds, especially brachycephalic breeds like Shih Tzus, are more predisposed to eye issues due to their prominent eyes and facial structure, making early intervention so important.

Now Bailey is back home, healing comfortably, and getting all the love and cuddles she deserves. We’re so happy to see her feeling better! ✨

Symptoms include drooling, incontinence, weakness, agitation or tremors, and in severe cases: low heart rate, low body temperature, and even seizures.

Meet Princesa, who came in for her first kitten visit! 🐾

We got her started with the kitten essentials:
- screening for intestinal parasites
- her first FVRCP vaccine
- and a combo test (to check for FeLV/ FIV)

She had some strong opinions about her shots, but powered through like a champ! 🐱

Preventative care is just as important for indoor cats as it is for puppies. Early care helps set them up for a healthy life ahead! 💕
