🎃👻 Halloween Volunteer & Donor Appreciation Night! 👻🎃

We are so thankful for the amazing volunteers and donors who support Granny Rose Animal Shelter all year long — now it’s time to celebrate YOU! 💜

Join us for a fun-filled Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 25th from 5–8pm at our K-9 Center parking lot. 🕸️🍬

✨ Details:
🐾 Kids and dogs are welcome!
🎭 Dress up in your best costume (and decorate your trunk if you’d like!)
🍭 Hand out candy & treats, or just come enjoy the fun!
🎃 Free to attend — this one’s on us to thank YOU for all you do!

Meet Tin Tin 🐾
Tin Tin is a 9-year-old terrier mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. He came to us through no fault of his own, and now he’s searching for a forever home where he can feel safe and loved again.

At first, Tin Tin may be a little shy, but it doesn’t take long for him to warm up and show his sweet, affectionate side. Once he trusts you, he’ll happily be your loyal companion, always ready for snuggles or quiet time by your side.

Tin Tin may have a few years under his belt, but that just means he’s wiser, calmer, and ready to cherish every moment with his new family. Could you be the one to give this sweet boy his happily ever after? ❤️

💔 Thomas Needs a Home (or a Foster!) 💔

Thomas is a 1–2-year-old coonhound mix who came to us as a stray, skinny and scared. Sadly, kennel life has been extremely hard on him—he’s stressed and struggling to gain the weight he needs.

Still, Thomas is nothing but love. 🐾 He’s goofy, sweet, and full of energy. He loves food and attention and just wants to be by your side. Thomas would do best in a home without small kids where he can finally feel safe and start to heal. Thomas was with other dogs when he was found, so it may be possible for him to live with other dogs, but here at the shelter, he is finding it hard to make any friends while being so stressed.

🎉🐾 Penny Wars Champion Announced! 🐾🎉

The battle was fierce, the jars were heavy, and the pennies… well, they added up! 💰

After a tough fight, the kids are the real winners in our Penny Wars! 👏
🐶 The Pup House raised $92.93
🐾 Furology raised $106.83

That’s a grand total of $199.76 to support our School Education Program for Tri-County area students K–12! 📚🐕🐈

A HUGE thank you to both Furology Pet Spa and The Pup House —we couldn’t ask for better sports (or better penny counters 😂).
