Suggestion if pups are having tummy issues
We personally have had good results.
Alyssa has done the testing and restore and I've used the restore. Knock on wood, good results

GDV has a few key features.  It’s diagnosed on a Right Lateral X-ray.  On this view you can see the pylorus move from the normal ventral position to a cranial position.

This gives it the classic “PopEye” arm appearance or “Double Bubble”.

A few other features that are commonly seen are:

Air dilation of the esophagus (as the stomach dilates with gas, so can the esophagus)

Narrowing of the Caudal Vena Cava as there is diminished venous return to the heart from compression of major abdominal veins.

We have a lot of notes on key Radiographic features to help increase your confidence and interpretation skills for chest and abdominal rads.

Comment “RAD” if you’d like to learn more about it!
