Update….. He has found his family!

We truly don’t understand how someone could pass up this sweet, handsome boy… but we had a no call, no show for him today — which means he is still looking for his forever family. 💛

At just 7 weeks old, this beautiful yellow Labrador Retriever weighs 13 lbs and is already showing wonderful size and structure. He has a rich yellow coat, the softest expression, and the most loving personality. He is incredibly sweet, cuddly, and very smart — always eager to learn and be right by your side.

He would make an excellent companion, and has all the potential to excel in service work, therapy work, or competition. He truly has the heart and brains to do it all.

If you’ve been waiting for the perfect boy, this might just be him. 🐾

🐾 Exciting Litter Announcement! 🐾

We are excited to announce an upcoming litter between HRCH Aimpowers Ranger Leads the Way MH and SHR Cane Creek’s Chocolate Bourbon CGC due March 1st!

"Ranger" is both a Hunting Retriever Champion and a Master Hunter who brings loads of drive, focus, and intensity to the field. He has a smaller frame and a strong work ethic, yet is able to settle when needed, making him a versatile and enjoyable dog to live and work with.

“Mags,” is a Started Hunting Retriever and Canine Good Citizen with a temperament like none other. She is laid back and easy going in the house or in public with her family, yet fully capable of retrieving ducks, geese, and dove in the field. Mags has also produced several puppies that have gone on to excel in service work, highlighting her exceptional temperament and trainability.

This pairing is expected to produce an all-chocolate litter with excellent drive, trainability, and balanced temperaments—making these puppies well-suited for hunting, hunt tests, service work, or active family homes.

🐾 Guardian Home Program 🐾

At Cane Creek Labradors, we are proud to offer our Guardian Home Program, which allows select families the opportunity to welcome one of our breeding females into their home as a beloved family companion. This program helps us place our breeding prospects, semi-active females, and retired veterans into loving homes where they can truly thrive as part of a family—while allowing us to continue our commitment to responsible and ethical breeding.

Guardian families care for their dog in their own home as a cherished pet and are responsible for routine, day-to-day expenses such as food and regular veterinary care. Families also agree to monitor their dog for signs of heat and return her to us when it is time for breeding or whelping.

As breeders, we retain breeding rights and cover all expenses related to breeding, whelping, and full health testing. All breeding and puppy rearing take place in our home under our supervision. These dogs come from outstanding pedigrees with proven, long-standing health records—making this an excellent opportunity for families who love the breed and value exceptional health standards.

Guardian families should be prepared for their dog to be away for approximately one to two weeks during breeding and up to six weeks for whelping and puppy rearing. Once the female is retired from the program and spayed, full ownership is transferred to the guardian family.

We truly cherish these incredible dogs and are honored to share their lives with families who will love them just as deeply as we do for their entire lifetime. Because of the trust involved, all guardian homes must complete a contract and home check, and families must be located within a two-hour drive of our home.

Leo x Harley pups are officially 1 week old today! 🐾
Harley is doing an incredible job as a mama, and these babies are already thriving—half of the litter has topped 2 lbs at just one week old.
