Nova's had a big first 2 weeks with us. From all of her basic obedience to working on setting her up for success young for her new job with us. Morning of day 6. Hand feeding routine. We do this and advise to do this for new dogs, resource guarders, and dogs that need restructured. This is a great way to teach your dog that their most valuable resource comes from you, impulse control, and having to work for food. Every action is calm, not frustrated, and patience is key.

Day 5 update with Nova.

Day 2 of Nova coming to work with us. She picks up and learns so fast. Just started today matching the word with hand signals for down in german with her and slowly but surely got it down. Reason for my excitement lol She still has a long way to go of course but so excited to have her. Follow along with her progress with us.

When you think of dog training what do you think of? "It will help my dog behave when I need them to." Or "my dog is out of control I don't know what to do, HELP!" the main question is, " is life with my dog making me more stressed or peaceful and enjoy coming home to my dog? " As a dog owner we should enjoy having our dog. But as children they have to know what's right from wrong. Have rules, boundaries, and limitations. Not to punish them but because we love them and want to keep them safe. That's where we come in!
